i think there was a similar topic in the forum but i can't remember. anyway i think the best lvl 6 is a tie between death knights and naga queens.but when it comes to practical gameplay i think wavs are the best lvl 6 just in terms of a power stack generation. mind u iam talking abt multiplayer gameplay where hives are allowed.

On a pure performance basis, of course it's the Dread Knight or maybe Naga Queen.
I have to put in an honorable mention for the War Unicorn though. Same 20% chance to blind as the 20% Dread Knights have for double damage. Slightly fewer HP and damage, but War Unicorns are only 950 gold! They have to be one of the best bargains in the game. Dread Knights are 1500 gold and Naga Queens are 1600 gold -- it makes me cry every time I buy four of them and then look at how little money I have left.
In terms of importance to their town, best level 6 is probably the Efreet. That's the backbone of a good Inferno player's army until they get a power stack of demons. It's sad their stats (especially HP) don't stack up with the other Level 6 creatures.

This must be the oldest depate i can remember (after Blackies vs Titans of course)
In 1 vs 1 Naga Queen wins Dread Knight but for me Dreads are so much more usefull whit their high speed. Offensive lv6 creature is just "better" than those slow Nagas what are protecting their shooters. Well that's how i see it, more usefull the better...

I think it is exactly the opposit.
Nagas are very usefull, coz they are the tank unit for Tower after week 1, while dreads don't play a serious role outside the endfight, coz you have skeletons and vamplords to do the trick.

True. Both creatures has their role in the army. Vamps and Skellies indeed makes the most harvest but soon Dreads or Black Knights anyway comes handy in play when those Big Bonies aren't worth buying in very long time.
Maybe it's a lame excuse but truth is that there is somewhat 3 useless creatures in necropolis, maybe that gives them the extra value. Haven't played in a while so don't remember 100% how fast you can build but in overall quality i rank Dreada pretty high on my lv6 list.

Yep i agree with u same reason. Naga Queen is second place for me good skills no retailation but dread knights skills, specials and bonuses more useful than Naga btw When Bone or Ghost Dragons really DEAD Dread Knights have a critic role. I think Dread ist first and Queen is second place

and cyclops? they have the superpower to be the only level 6 shooter (and they are weak yes) but the good part is the AI targets the wolf first, giving you time to shoot. actually, when I played them, it seemed the AI didn't care about them, which is a mistake when you are playing as yog.

Yep, you're right. The cyclopses are not my favourite, but they can last longer than most lvl. 6 troops because they don't enter the heat of the battle. The AI ignores them, and they can make alot of damage.
They are also useful because of their ability of targeting siege walls. I was playing Heroes III the other days with Stronghold and Crag Hack. I had basic Ballistics and I was sieging a Fortress (you know this is a nasty town to siege), and the Catapult didn't destroied the Drawbridge. The Ancient Behemoths waited, the Cyclops Kings targeted the drawbridge and destroyed it. Then, I casted Haste on the Ancient Behemots and, when they're turn camed, I enterd the town and attacked in the first round.
