Warn and be warned! Report here the cheaters!!!

I decided to open this topic after a recent "unlucky" moment i had. I started a game with a guy and his first words in day 1, were "play faster man" . That is not a game, that is an anxiety attack!  Expecially when some days later he was playing twice as slow as i was! So my first advice is warn other players how slow or fast you are and if you decide to play together, don't destroy all the fun with urges to make you turns faster! Secondly be careful whom you play with. There are players that will not settle for a loss even if they deserve it and they will try to find one million excuses to avoid posting their loss at toh. So my advice here is as your first choices to be players that have some games in their records and/or players that you trust. A win or a loss is not everything but there is no point in spending 4 hours planning, trying, playing and then go out with no honor. Just enjoy the game everyone and let's be fair to others and ourselves.

Have fun

It seems i will reply first to my post!Be careful of the player with toh name Dramaticsilent and email optimumjoe2000@yahoo.com. He plays long hours, interrupting the game evry 10 minutes because he has things to do, he is getting lost for hours and then if he loses he "by accident" disconnects and asks for playing the final battle again. Obviously he is cheating so you all serious players like me dont bother playing with him. you will just lose your time.

Lately there have been many posts regarding honourable player conduct. Just recently I heard another story that, imo, deserves to be included in "how not to behave" chapter:

On map Dragon Hill, one of players while passing by misclicked and attacked garrison of 500 blackies. Understandably, he asked for a reload as this is the case of "perfect" misclick. His opponent rejected unless that player reports a clan free challenge loss as a reward for reload. Well, poor misclicker reported loss and then after reload finished the game.

Obviously, such a misclick is in the same rank as disconnect. If there is no reload for such a misclick then all disconnects are "losses" as well. But those are technicalities... What concerns me is the magnitude of this dihonourable demand... Perhaps, I understand the concept of honourable game conduct differently. Therefore, I'd be glad to see what the rest of community thinks.

The reason I brought this up is simple - I wish for this example to serve its purpose as a preventive action against similar malpractices in future.

That borders on ridiculous. Woohoo I am so honorable for imposing my own rules and getting my wins fair and square from misclicks. No, that is not the way to go if we want this community to be enjoyable. I can understand if the misclick is after ten minutes of final battle - personally I would not replay all this - but if it happens in creeping or in tactics phase by not including a crucial stack I believe we should cut some slack. Sh*t happens.

Can't see any reason to reject the reload there
If wanna beat someone, beat him in battlefield, not from such misclicks

If you trust your oponent load for misclick is normal. For example i have loads with Teacher,SQ79,Kispagat and few other ppl. From other side i dont trust 1 person in TOH...when i know he is ready to do every...just to prevent loss. So no load/game for him befor he pay his old duty.

Who might this be ? We have to put a name to the shame, just so we know to avoid this kind of person in the future. Wouldn't want to waste hours just to get pissed off after such actions.

Make sure you vote the right players then.
I seen some crybabies in my time playing.
Usually people who cry & whine about other people are also the ones to not play.
Nothing worst then playing with a whiner who likes to bring names up.

Ok, just saw the posts here.
I had a game with Teacher 1 week ago. When almost finish, he attack the 500 blackie, misclik  for sure, BUT

this happened after : 3 reloads in a row from his side, saying all kinds of excuses, and i gave him all of this reloads. Finally, 1 more reload when the game was almost finished.
I could've stop the game many times for such many reloads, but i didnt, give the man another chance, another chance and so on...fifth time I didnt, all this in spite of the fact I warned teacher I usualy dont give reloads! If he suicide himself so many times is hes problem, not mine. BUT still gave him the chance to finish the game, which was right away.

Strider, dont judge only if you dont know details, ok? Also, I asked another player opinion, about this situation, about what to do. You know what? In their game teacher asked for reloads as well, so many reloads.
And I still finished the game. From my point of view I acted right, you tell me!

If it was to happened just once, ok np!, but 5 times, theres too much for a game, and remember 1 more thing: All this happened after his conflict with Jinxer...
I wait community to express themselfs, i will accept any decision , who's right here?

Disconnects happen all the time to everyone, mainly because of hamachi. Fiur disconnected on me, Elvin did, Odiak, Vex, etc. Does that mean that the most honorable players out there are suiciding every game ?

Personally I think you suffer from the post-communism syndrome, where everyone out there is trying to steal from you.

Guys just take it slow a little. we are all players and even if they are some examples of bad behaving ones oute there, for sure DIEGIS, VALKY, TEACHER etc etc etc are NOT included in them as these people surely know what they are doing in the game and they are good players. On the other hand my suggestion as far as reloads are concerned would be to set a standard number of reloads per player  BEFORE the game begins. I am not a great player yet but nobody who takes 2 and 3 chances with some neutrals is. Unlucky battles we all have. But that's the beauty. Accept them and try to play fair. Just dont fight among you. Keep it clean.

ps Of course disconnect is a different case and nobody should be to blame if hamachi is crazy.

Unfortunately, that's true hehe... Oh, Diegis, it was you?!

My position is simple here - all d/c, HUGE misclicks are 100% reloads regardless of amount (this concerns d/c more). ALL reloads on suicides are completely a courtesy of the granter on his own risk.

Obviously, it may happen that someone hides suicide behind d/c. Well, nothing to do there... Therefore I play ppl I trust and hope that Tournament of Honour is not an empty sound.

If this theory is applied to your case then the only question is whether you granted reloads due to d/c or suicide. If d/c then I salute your courtesy....

He assumed his mistake, nothing to hide there, cose the blackies, BUT PLAYING WITH VALKIE NEAR HIS SHOULDER, how sounds this one?
Though, I reported my loss he reported his loss, that how it was, fair, but didnt know all facts, you just hurry to conclude, this is what im saying and wasnt me to complain, but his bro...

Actually his girlfriend was near him as well, we'll make her create an account on toh and report a loss to you as well every time hamachi desyncs, that'll be swell.

I can report some too ...

Of course I was near him, we live next to each other and like to watch one another playing when we don't get any action. But for your sanity, I will start looking for another place to live from tomorrow on, since that proximity clearly clouded your judgement and made you think you won, beating him with 500 dragons
