From Prophet to Profit!
Well, I usually found Taoism (unrestriced Religions ^^)
But yes, Early religions + Stonehenge or The Oracle Wonders (Those that grant Great Prophets), give you great Profit!

There are a new BtS patch for anyone that haven't noticed it yet (3.19).
Btw, anyone tried Fall from Heaven 2? I'm installing it now. Is it any good?

Yah, it fixes up good amount of stuff.Although AI will now nuke you aggressively (Or maybe it's normal for Deity level ).
Quote: Btw, anyone tried Fall from Heaven 2? I'm installing it now. Is it any good?
It's good...Umm, don't know what else to say.
Quote: But yes, Early religions + Stonehenge or The Oracle Wonders (Those that grant Great Prophets), give you great Profit!
Shrines are capped at +20 gold now
Quote: For those that like to play an aggressive game, the best choice is probably Boudica: one Free promotion for almost every unit, AND units promote faster!
Genghis Khan is better, Combat 1 promotion and faster GG's.
OR you could just use Romans and pwn everyone anyway

Lol, the Praetorians are maybe the most broken unit in the whole game
Easy pickings when I played Augustus Caesar. Probably (one of) the easiest games I ever played.

In the Vanilla version, Mao Ze Dong has Philosophical/Industrious
But that was changed to Philosophical/Organized in Warlords.
Financial/Industrious (Huanya Capac) seems dangerous too: CHeap wonders, and lost of money. COmbine that with Early Religion/Holy Cities, and you have a steady income to fund a very early expansion. (not to mention that the Incas have Quechuas as well, so they can attack cities, rather than found them).

Hello,
This is the Only Civ Part that I've played. But i must say that I'm impressed, it's really a nice a well made game, What i Like the most is the Hot-Seat =]
The best thing is that Most human players Aim for Dyplomacy and other Non combat settlements, Whillist I always Play with Ragnar ]:-> Or if there is a Mode that enables Poland, I also liked Peter the Gr8 from Russia,:]

What Difficulty???... erm, Prince, I think it was called...
I always play on average difficulty. I don't enjoy hard games much, to be honest. (except in Heroes 5, oddly enough)
On the other hand, the easiest (Settler, was it not?) is so laughably easy that it's boring.

I like Deity games most, even with good strategy, traits and Unique stuff you still have a 75% of getting kicked, hard.
I still remember a game where I was playing as Asoka and the 4 warmongers of the worst kind (monty, shaka, toku, napoleon) were in the same continent

Tokugawa isn't that aggressive imo. He's a nuissance, but I have yet to live to see the day where he declares war upon me. Alexander and Ghengis are a lot worse (but still)
The other three however I can imagine that hurt (and with peacefull Asoka... oh dear)
Napoleon once attacked me, whilst being pleased and having the SAME state religion. (and also, he was on the west-side of the continent, and I was on the east Side... LOL)

Toku gets pretty pissed if you don't tribute him.
And inevitably Shaka bribed him to join the unholy alliance to destroy me
You know what hurts alot too?
To have Shaka to lead your colonies, after 2 resource demands he declares independence

Bah, In my games, Tokugawa has been pretty weak (though he rocks as a Player!). Shaka is a true nuissance, as he's extremely strong early game, and because he ALWAYS declares war upon you if you are weak militairy (and I usually am... I first build up my economy than my Army)
The funny thing is, that none of these hatemongers are powerfull end-game . They nearly always on the lower end of the equasion. (Serves them well, the aggressive louts!)

Yeah, about that...
Try playing against Bismarck on monarch.
Lategame he is agressive as hell, and the panzers...oh the horror!
Also, you make a big mistake if you piss off the US leaders lategame, those SEALS can make quick work from most of garrison forces.
