Best upgrade: Master Gremling, it can shoot + alot cheaper than a Titan xD

maybe the titan, it has twice as many HPs as the giant and gain the ability to shoot. I doubt any other creature gain that much by upgrading.
then there is also the (potentially) very powerful pit lord with resurrection of demons.

Titan. Why? Because giants don't have anything desirable except the fact that they are upgraded into titans. Giants don't fly and are too slow meelee attackers lacking special abilitities. Shure they have immunity to mind spells, but it's not enough to make up for the fact that they are like slow, non-flying, breathattackless, low populated firebirds. Titans cost alot, but they are the strongest tier 7 creatures in my book.

the giant still inflicts a lots of damages, it's like a behemoth, but better in some cases.

Five best, in no order, are:
Mighty Gorgons
Vampire Lords
Phoenixes
Titans
Archangels
All 3 of these upgrades level 7s are insanely lethal, Vampire Lords are ridiculously hard to kill, and Mighty Gorgons are, well, Mighty Gorgons.

Here's my top 20 of best upgrade:
1 Mighty Gorgons - more 75 gold, 1 more speed, +1 attack, +2 defense, 10% DEATH STARE (CAN PROPABLY KILL 1 AZURE DRAGON WITH 2 MIGHTY GORGONS SPREADING AND THEY AREN'T IN STACK)
2 Magic Elementals - more 50 gold, 5 more damage (both min & max damage), 5 more hps, 2 more speed, MAGIC IMMUNITY (GOOD FOR ARMAGEDDON CASTER HEROES) (SAME WITH PHOENIXES, BLACK DRAGONS & GOLD DRAGONS AND SOME OTHER, WHO HAS FIRE SPELL IMMUNITY)
3 Sprites - MORE 5 GOLD, 1 MORE MAX DAMAGE,NO ENEMY RETALIATE, +2 speed.
4 Titans - more 3000 gold 1gem, 50% more hp,SHOOTER (24), +5 attack, +8 defense, 4 more speed
5 Vampire Lords - more 140 gold, BLOOD SUCKER, 10 more health, +1 defense, 3 more speed

You know, it's hard to pick some creatures upgrade on a top 20 list, I do it on my own
Now I've deleted Naga Queen on the list and putted Ogre Magi instead.

In some reasons, yes, but doesn't have the complete magic immunity, so the spells titans thunder, implosion (they're lvl 5 spells) can hit the Gold Dragon. I give it an 16th place
