Does anyone know where I can see images of the new town and read about it?
Or, if that doesn't exist in English, and if anyone has the time and ability to do so, can someone post images of the creatures and the town and write a translation of the summaries of the creatures and buildings?
If nothing else, can someone post the images?

Thank you very much! I'm really appreciated for that!
At the moment I’m helping to the HOTA–team (or I’m in HOTA-team; I think, you could name it as you whish: it doesn’t matter).
The HOTA-team had a hard time approximately a year ago. Our ambitions and tastes were more important than the project itself . But I think that we all grew up for this time. And I believe that this bad experience was just like a vaccination and further work will be in friendlier atmosphere. Sorry for grandiloquence
I have a lot of work now, but I will try to find the time on my Heroes-hobbie.
Now, about the new orcs and pikemans. As You know, “the first crepe is always an experiment”. What exactly You don’t like? Could You name an specific shortcomings? If so, I’m ready to improve the new orcs and pikemans. Or You just don’t like the fact of replacement of anything?
---
Sorry about my English again
---
And I'll hope you enjoy the new add-on!

Oh wow, first Docent Picolan returns, then HOTA beta is released on new year and now Alex-ander returns!
Finally things are getting as they should've been for HOTA.
EDIT: So, now that the Cove is released which town has a chance to be released next? Cathedral? Asylum? Kremlin?

Hope they release the Bastion. The idea of Egyptian town is much to my liking

I haven't yet seen the new orcs, but the pikemen and habeldiers were pretty awesome, congrats! ;-) I personally disagree though with any extensive changes in the creature defs. Not because you can't make a better image but because it will lose the flavour of the original heroes 3. Some units as we have mentioned earlier actually need to be changed and this will colour and give an air of renovation to the game, that's true! However if many of the units get replaced by more fancy, epic, cool etc. pictures, then the outcome will not be kind of complete expansion idea you envisioned, and we liked, but sth different altogether.

Bastion and Kremlin aren't parts of HotA project. They're from 3.59 and are rather dead than alive.

Too bad, I remember someone mentioning that Bastion should be released shortly after HotA. But if you say the project is dead - those are bad news...let's hope they would send out at least a playable beta or something

That's a damn shame about Bastion and Kremlin. I saw the Kremlin unit models from Alex-ander and they were amazing.
Is there any way for other teams (like the HOTA team) to reclaim those towns?

There are lots of towns which are considered to be from the HotA mod. But you can see how much time it takes to implement one. And it still requires much efforts.
Moreover, it's possible that the next milestone will be focused on other features, not a new town. Alternative upgrades, balancing, artifacts - there is a long list of ideas.
There you can see (with a translator, though) which towns are in the "camp" of HotA and which are in the 3.59 "camp". Kronverk and Cathedral already have a nice set of graphic done, though a new Forge attracts great attention lately. Of course, it's impossible to make projections right now, but if it's decided to make focus on a second town there will probably be a lobby war. By the way, Alex-ander's opinion is one of the most important ones.

First off, I love what the team has done and what HotA has become. It really turned out great, I'm enjoying every second of playing it.
Secondly, I think you should wait with working on a second town. People should get to really experience Cove and see what a masterpiece it is first.
This is what I think should be focused on for the coming versions:
-An english translation
-A HotA-based map editor
-Artifacts
-The campaign
-New objects, neutral creatures, etc.
This is just my opinion though.

Firstly, it is need to remove status "beta": removing bugs, creating full campaign..and translating, yes.
And first major task for next version - recreating HotA under ERA.

Wow, so many town concepts. They are amazing, though I'm skeptic that most of them will see finished development.
Of course, it looks logical to concentrate on different features now. Adding a new town seemed impossible, but now that it's done it won't be difficult to add one more. I wish the team good luck in everything that they are working on next.

Just as a little FYI, I believe the new Orcs are reconstructions of the original H3 concept art:
Heroes III's Orcs are actually a bit out of sync with their usual portrayal in the series - as brown-skinned, pig-faced creatures - so I think the new ones are perfect, but that's me.
Anyway, I'm delighted to see Alex-ander is back ERA and map editor support is imperative, but if any further HotA town gets finished someday, I'm pleading for it to be the Asylum. You've gotta love trans-dimensional freaks!

Personaly I like new pikemans and orcs very much. Just uprgaded orc should be a little less orange, but it isn't very necessary.
Also, will be this nightmatre part of Cathedral town, or replacement of an old unit, or completely new neutral unit?
P.S.:Alex-ander, thanks for lots of awesome work Hope you will have enought time to continue...

Going to give this a try later tonight. Hopefully my limited knowledge of cyrillic+being slavic (though not russian) myself will be enough to get through it .
Nice to see this completed, congrats to everyone involved.

AFAIK the nightmare should've been an alternative unit in Inferno.

I'd suggest you to give it a shot, because it's decided to start the translation only after a newer version is released. As Docent Picolan mentioned, we're talking about months, not days.
Meanwhile, I'm preparing MoP for you...

Any way I could offer to help with the translation? I'm fluent in english and pretty much fluent in russian, and having tried translating before I'm fairly sure I can be of some use.
