Don't get me wrong I think Sparrows great but he is simply no match for our greenhoded friend in a fight.
You tend to forget someting, in allmost every Zelda-game there is not the same Link..... Soothe factor is which Link we are talking about.
Sparrow would win in most cases anyway,simply because he are skilled.
Note: Link got even less chances without Navi anyway

I think Jack would win. Perhaps Zelda is better swordsman but you just can't shut Sparrows mouth. Quick tongue is deadlier than mightiest sword  Master of deseption has many lines but i think he would start whit: "Parley!"

The talk about hearts... Game factors like life-up, hearts and fairys etc don't apply.
Just like a normal person if link his head sliced he will die I don't care how many hearts he has....
Otherwise James Bond would win every fight because if you put goldeneye on easy he can take about 1000000 rounds from an AK-47 and keep on running

Yes, but WHICH Link are we talking about? That is the biggest factor of them all! It's around just as many Links as there are games. In some Link can barely use swords, in others he is a master of it. SO WHICH LINK?!!!!!!!!!111111111111!!!!!

Jack Sparrow would win Link in a fight since its just with a sword and shield. Link is worthles without his boomerangs, bombs, fairies, bows, magic wands and all that other stuff that he carries with him. Not to mention that Jack is way more cunning than Link.

Don't kill me! But I have never really played Zelda, so don't know much about Link but unless he falls for the old trick "play drunk" he will win.

Link is awesome end of story!! Comeon Sparrow is cool but he isn't that great a figther Link is DOMINATION!!
EDIT: Obviously I'm not a freakishly fanatic worshipper of Zelda...

Lol, I would also like to look at this objectively... naah, why bother? Link is my idol, although I share a favourite drink with Jack. Link will definately win, he has more hearts/health too you know.

After heavly thinking about it I figured that Link would win, even without his equippment. I mean, Links sword is the master sword or another magical sword plus, he got an shield. Jack is stuck with an corde, yeah that's f***ing create... And Jack usally wins because of his surrondings(Will vs Jack in first movie) or by running away(Jack vs Will vs Noringthon in second movie) or by cheating/threatning the opponent(Jack vs Will in first movie + Jack vs Davy Jones in third movie) an seing as his not allowed to use his other weapons(goes for Link as well, but Link can't use magic either seing as this is an only sword and shield fight(check vs post). and Twilight Princess Link(see picture) got some neat sword skills so he will win....unless theres some rigged surronding that gives Jack the advantage.

Jack Sparrow has tiny sword for one hand, he can't strike very hard with this weapon, but the blade is pretty sharp.
Link has one hand sword as well, but also got a shild to protect himself, Jack Sparrow can not avoid the shield bash easy like Aragorn, but he can dodge the strikes of Link  Link will use the shield to block the hits. Anyway I think that Link's hat is crucial for Jack Sparrow, he will laugh at it and his moves will get phlegmatic. Link is the winner!
