New Interview and Screenshots!
Go to http://www.ag.ru/reviews/heroes4beta/voted_none.shtml. There's no translation as of yet, but the screenshots are interesting. If anyone here knows Russian, I'd be happy to see a translation of the article.

Well, this is summary from this topic:
1)Water:
There will be some surprises such as dolphins,
pirate islands,magic portals where you can teleport without
ships,safe places for ships-enemy can't take them
2)Creature grow:
They grow all-week-long.For example you may have your
titans at 3-rd day and at 7-th day of week
3)Caravans:
They travel your troops at any place.So there is no need
to hire secondary heroes
Other translation will be in few minutes

-Town portal is back (but less powerfull)
-Black Dragons cost 8000 
-Sulfur mine 4000+10 wood
-I dont like the look of blacksmith
and much more!!

4)Taverns:
Heroes cost from 1500 to 2500 gold (it depends from heroes's type);You can hire a hero only once in a week;
There is no ability to get some info about your enemies in
Thieves Guild like it was in H3
5)Hero:
There are 8 parameters of hero amage,health,mana capacity,
movement points,experience,morale and luck and personal
parameter.Heroes's biography also included.
Hero can achieve some ranks:general,king or knight
6)Artifacts:
There are 13 slots for artifacts.Beta-version has about 160
different relics.
7)Blacksmith:
Here you can buy swords,shields,arbalests,pikes which give
some positive or negative effects,for example shield can
increase defence but decrease movement
8)Magic:
5-th level feature-you can summon phoenixes,devils, etc.

9)Battlefield:
If creature has sword,bow and magic simultaneously-you
can choose attack type.
There are 2 types of defence which are decreasing during the battle
-defence from arrows
-defence

BTW WHO DOESNT KNOW:
U CAN ALWAYS USE TRANSLATION ENGINES SUCH AS http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr TO TRANSLATE IT, IT'S NOT THAT ACCURATE BUT U GET THE POINT WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.

Well my opinion after watching the new shots:
Land Graphix - Outstanding! The landscape is awesome with its fantastic buildings, mountains and fountains!
Castle graphix - Bad. Too messy. Needs time to get used to.
Creature graphix - Some are pure diamonds, some ar pure ...
AFTER ALL homm 4 should really kick ass. We`ve all waited it for half a year already and we know very much about it and some things we like, some we don`t, heroes rules and 4 is a very good sequel.

Yep it does look like a pretty good sequel so lets hope it plays as good as it looks!

Umm... is anyone else annoyed by the fact they put the # of gold as 20K instead of 20,000? Personally I am pissed off about this... I am too lazy to read roman numerals!

Dajek: hmm, I disagree. I like the look of the towns, but not so much the adventure map. Why on earth have they made the trees so much bigger. I know the hero looked out of proportion in HOMMIII, but I didn't mind. Now the "forests" are single trees standing respectively out of each others way! And they stand in straight lines! The trees and mountains were so beautiful in HOMMII & III, why change it like that?
Darion: Yes, I completely agree. Besides, how are we to know if it's 20,001 or 20,999??

I don't like the main menu screen.It's very unimaginative.With the menu screen they got down from h2 to to h3, and now I come to regret h3menu? The scrolls are ok, they should have better characters though and representatice symbols beside them, but the center image is terrible. Toy soldiers on a "map"? Not good. Not good.

Having looked at the academy screen for building structures and the academy town on the screenhots, I have a question.
Why isn't the Prison a build option on the "Hall" screen? Is it considered an upgrade of the Castle or?
Also the Academy town in another screenshot seems to have built every structure except the Prison.
Have 3Do not worked out how they want the prison should work?
Should we believe this is a conincidence or is there anyone who has any ideas about it?

The picture number 4 represents a battlescreen...anything suspect in it? Yes! There is snow. What else? Green trees! And they're not sycamores. Is 3do out of order?
