Academy to Conflux - Beta testing

I'm glad to welcome you in the Academy to Conflux beta testing thread!
First of all, I want to thank all this has gone so far!
changelog:
ACADEMY TO CONFLUX BETA 1
[new]
1. creatures:
- basic models switch, effects and retexturing on both combat and adventure map
- symbolic creatures' icons
- stats and abilities changed
2. heroes:
- Heroes 3 portraits (only stretched without further improvements)
- new model
- new name: Planeswalker
- new statistics and skills disposal
- no new skillwheel yet
- specialities and starting skills changed
3. the town:
- new resource cost
- renamed buildings
- new siege arena
- no visual changes yet (in town)
4. game mechanics:
- Call Storm: changed to Blizzard
5. whole new Heroes 3-based Academy music scheme
6. password-protected package - manual installing
ACADEMY TO CONFLUX BETA 2
[new]
1. creatures:
- completely new creatures' icons
- new appearance of Obsidian Elemental
- new effect for Ice and Glacial Elemental
- balance tweaks
- descriptions
- new cost
- Sylvan: tier 1 Wolves instead of Pixies
- non-conflux elementals, neutral Wolves and Phoenix have "Wild" annotation
- Thunderbird: new texture (from the patch for B1)
- proper elements added
- sound changes
2. heroes:
- new skillwheel
- new portraits (featuring alpha channels)
- new statistics disposal: 25%, 15%, 25%, 35%, (1, 0 ,1 ,2)
- Erdamon: speciality and starting skills changed
- Kalt: speciality and starting skills changed
- Pasis: starting skills changed
- Aneain: starting skills changed
- descriptions
- Conflux hero's patch switched from Inferno to Dungeon one
3. game mechanics
- Dash: initiative boosting factor reduced to 150% instead of 200%
[fixes]
- Phoenix's profile doesn't show range anymore
- Tier 2 and 4 creatures have now correctly listed their range as well
- Fire and Energy Elemental's cameras show the creatures in dwelling correctly now
- Conflux creatures appear on adventure map correctly now

1. Academy renamed to Conflux
Beta testing should be launched in one or two weeks time:
BETA 1 released on 31.05.2008
BETA 2 released on 24.06.2008
o If you think you should be one of the testers, send the request to me be pushing the button below.
o Remember, a tester should be experienced in Heroes 5 ToE and have a time for testing.
o Don't apply for testing if you just want to see how it looks like.
o If I think you are the right person I'll send you a message with password to Beta 2 archive the day I will release it for downloading. If you won't receive a reply for me - sorry, it's not for you this time.
o If you have contributed to this project you can be sure you will receive the Beta 2 key (see below).
o I will be sending invitations for those who haven't sent me a request but I think they can do well with testing.
Guaranteed beta keys (these persons don't need to send me requests and always receive the beta keys):
My-Key (textures, icons),
Genie Lord (Genie texture),
Warmonger (mp3s, skillwheel),
Daystar (Storm Elemental textures),
Cepheus (provided hero portraits in their best quality, creature descriptions),
sith_of_ziost (building cost),
Moonstryder (creatures cost),
- beta 2 test season has ended -
NCF compatibility patch for BETA 2
Fixes the bug, which makes game unable to launch while 'New Creatures Framework' is installed. Put the file into your UserMODs folder. Compatible with NCF 1.1.
Warning: doesn't support the new creatures to be raised through Necromancy.

Gama, Delta...
I'm stuck with ToK until Kronoss uploaded the most current version. So why not being nice and trying this? I feel bad that I didn't help here, although I was asked to from the beginning. Maybe being a tester can make up for it.

I'm sending the keys to anyone who have contributed to this project. No need to sent me requests for them. They also don't need to report me any bugs.

Testing takes a long time to make sure no bugs. However, once the testing is finished, and it is in final stage, I want to be one of the first to get it

I'm really suprised by Elementals power diversity. In H3 they were very similiar. If Dwarves and Stronghold can have many units with similiar strenght, why Conflux can't?
Overall, I like the style of this faction. Very fast, with lots of attack and spellpower, but very weak creatures. In combat they give a feeling you just can't move or will get blown by one shot
Astral spirits seem to be kinda sucky because of the lack of HP. Come on, this is how much Unicorns have.
What are you going to do with the old Elementals? Trash?

Astral Spirits though are tier 6 have base growth of 3.
Old Elementals stay. They just must but I have no lust to explain it further now
