The Oasis
Everybody is making up their castles so I thought up of one too. It wolud be called The oasis, a desert town.
Creature list:
1st level:Cobra/Jackal
2nd level:Camel rider/Vulture
3rd level:Cactus warrior/Sand wurm
4th level:Mummy/Shadow
Jackal(walker):Ability to make a creature follow him to the edge of the battle field, so it won't attack other creatures.
Cobra(shooter)oisonus spit.
Camel rider(walker):First strike.
Vulture(flyer):Ability to resurrect on bodies of dead creatures.
Cactus warrior(shooter):Healing. Ability to shoot all prickels from their body. That would make them not to be able to shoot for a fue turns. That would affect your creatures too.
Sand wurm(walker):Ability to dig them in to the sand, without the enemy to see that. If an enemy creature or player would step on it, it would atttack it.
Mummy(spellcaster):Ability to rise Sand fighters; Spell casters
(Sand fighter(walker):Ability to turn a creature in to a sand statue)
Shadow(flyer):Ability to become the shadow of a creature(enemy's creature) for one turn. It would get it's attack, defense, movement... and it would add its. It would become what that creature is (a walker, shooter, spellcaster or flyer), but it wouldn't get it abilities like first strike...
Heroes from this castle would be Sandmaster(magic) and Desert walker(might). If it would be possible it would have magic, Sand magic, if that would'nt be possible, than Mummies would cast only Sand storm. What do you think about it? Goodbye from The Wolfmaster. Auuuuuuuuu!

Interesting town.. but I feel that it has too many "normal" creatures in it. I would opt for more fantastical creatures rather than regular animals. However, here is my idea for a town:
"Storm/Ice" town (based partly on Norse legends)
Level 1: Frost Sprite
Level 1: Ice Golem
Level 2: Ice Elemental
Level 2: Windego
Level 3: Storm Raven
Level 3: Frost Queen
Level 4: Valkyrie
Level 4: Azure Dragon
Frost Sprite- recruited at Frozen Garden, flying
Ice Golem- recruited at Ice Castle
Ice Elemental- recruited at Altar of Winter, 24 shots
Windego- recruited at Cave of Spirits, ignores all obstacles (like the ghost behemoth in WOG)
Storm Raven- recruited at Frozen Forest, flying and % to call lightning
Valkyrie- recruited at Valhalla, +30% additional damage when attacks (goes into a "beserk" state)
Azure Dragon- recruited at Astral Cliffs, flying, % cause enemies to freeze in fear
(note the Azure dragon is toned down from Homm3, to a regular level 4 unit)

Hey, Wolfmaster, neat idea (although I think that's what it's gonna stay, an idea). I especially like the vultures and the Shadow.
Darion: Well, if Wolfmasters creature names are too normal, I think your creature abilities are. Wolfmaster has some really cool abilities! It's not so much the name as it is what you do with the creature at hand.
Anyway: A suggestion to your town: Barn (I don't know what to translate it into, don't know any good english word for it, in my language Nisse (I'm norwegian) pronounced with a short "i" like in "wings" and "e" like the "a" in "wait") A distant relative to Santa (this is a much older creature, dates back to Norwegian folklore, it is from this guy Santa got his red and white suit and beard), but dwarfsized, is a moody fellow. If you treat him nice (set out food for him and stuff) he'll look after your animals and houses, but if you treat him bad, he plays pranks on you. All this is hard to integrate to the game, but maybe a level 1 fellow with special ability to play pranks (could be lots of different things!)
Well, that's all for now, maybe I'll add more later.

The shadow is really cool, but please no cactuses...I'ce already had it with the waspworth....as about worms, who wants troops who are usefull only when stepped on? It,s like the quicksand spell in h3, which i never used...but it's still ok.
