5th - Lexxan
6th - Sargeras
7th - Fauch

Word of warning: To impress me in this week, the Paranormals must be better than anything you've done. Its my favorite round barr-none. Good luck. No pressure .

All in favor of patching these two, say aye!
Anyways, I'll work on my entry in the upcoming days.

Dibbs on Vaslaron!
Hmm...time for this round's entry:
Vaslaron - Level 5 Neutral Creature
Unit Growth = 3
Dwelling: Void Rip
Description: The Vaslaron is a strange beast. Most paranormal creatures are easy enough to identify. Some are manifestations of hate. Others are manifestations of sorrow. Yet other represent happiness, hope, mirth. However, the Vaslaron represents none of these things. In fact, it represents nothingness; the dark void that mortal beings fear and immortals respect, for it can destroy everything, if it so chose to.
Creations of the God of the Void, whose name and history has been lost to the sands of time (or destroyed by Asha as some bards would have the story told...), the amorphous Vaslarons have three distinct shapes that they can take during the heat of battle, able to switch between them with ruthless efficiency. One lowers the damage it suffers from ranged attacks. Another reduces the damage from melee attacks and the third reduces magical effectiveness.
These battle forms, as well as many other properties that they possess, make them coveted by the Wizards of the Silver Cities and the Necromancers of Heresh. However, no one has ever managed to capture a Vaslaron. Attempts to capture one of these beasts fail, whether because the Vaslarons kill the would-be capturers, or because they slip back into the void as the capture grows imminent...
Vaslaron - Armor Form
Description: In this form, the Vaslaron takes the shape of a plate-mail armored being, wielding a large shield in each arm and lacking legs. It is a faceless being and the few visible parts of its visage are purple and black, the colors of the void. It's armor is the color of ebony. It wields no weapons, but can mold the void into an orb perfect for ranged combat. In this form, ground-based movement is severely hampered by the visible lack of lower appendages for locomotion.
In summary, it's a piece of plate-mail armor without the lower body part, and the armor is touching the floor. (If that made any sense whatsoever. )
HP: 60
Attack: 10
Defense: 14
Damage: 11-11
Shots: Infinite
Speed: 4
Initiative: 10
Abilities: Shooter, No Melee Penalty, Void Walker, Infinite Shots, Teleport, Large Shield, Void Call, Form Swap
Void Walker - This creature is unaffected by obstacles, being able to move past them, as long as remaining movement points allow.
Teleport - Once per battle, this creature can teleport itself to any square on the battlefield. (This is an activated ability; considered to be at Expert skill for effectiveness).
Void Call - When this stack destroys an enemy stack, it grows by 10% (perfect for those stacks of 1 that most people; including myself, like to create during Tactics. )
Form Swap - This stack can change into the Gaseous Form or the Crystal Form of the Vaslaron. The stack's ATB becomes 0.5 (loses half a turn to morph).
Vaslaron - Gaseous Form
Description: In this form, the Vaslaron takes the shape of a lizard...or at least it resembles one. It is pure gas in this form, so it's hard to tell what it really looks like, and most people would rather not find out...
It has a thick, gaseous "hide" in this form, and wields no weapons like its Armor Form counterpart. It has no ranged attack, but its natural speed and initiative is the highest of any of the three battle forms.
Summary: It looks like a Heroes 3 Lizardman, with a thicker hide (and no bow ). It is completely gaseous though, so its hide is also made out of gas (just thicker than the rest of its body)
HP: 60
Attack: 8
Defense: 10
Damage: 8-10
Speed: 7
Initiative: 15
Abilities: Agility, Void Walker, Void Call, Ironhide, Form Swap, Teleport Other
Ironhide - This creature takes only 50% normal damage from all non-magical ranged attacks.
Form Swap - This stack can change into the Armor Form or the Crystal Form of the Vaslaron. The stack's ATB becomes 0.5 (loses half a turn to morph).
Vaslaron - Crystal Form
Description: The Vaslaron's final battle form is completely bizarre. It takes the form of a giant crystal that walks on four crystalline legs. It has no head (at least, not one that is visible) and no arms. Wizard researchers believe this creature to be what inspired Blue Viper the Deranged to create the Arcane Crystal spell not more than 100 years ago. Whether this is just mad speculation or a lucky guess, is anyone's guess...but this form does seem to go out with a bang if destroyed...
HP: 60
Attack: 9
Defense: 12
Damage: 9-10
Speed: 5
Initiative: 9
Abilities: Immunity to Dark Magic, Magic Proof 50%, Void Walker, Void Call, Form Swap, Elemental, Arcane Explosion
Form Swap - This stack can change into the Armor Form or the Gaseous Form of the Vaslaron. The stack's ATB becomes 0.5 (loses half a turn to morph).
Arcane Explosion - When this stack is destroyed, it explodes, dealing [10*(stack size) + 4*(controlling hero's Spellpower, if applicable)] damage to all units that surround it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Other notes of interest:
The Crystal Form's Elemental property was intentional. It'd be weird to Resurrect something that has blown itself into bits, now wouldn't it?
That's the price it pays for being more effective against heroes than the other two forms.
I had a 4th form in mind, but since it's not battle-related, I might not submit it for consideration. (But, I'll definitely submit it for you guys to see. )
