There, vote cast  Come on, who else can aid you so much in winning a game? Maybe magnetics with armageddon that is by no means a usual tactic and whitebears that can wreak havoc with their ability. But they are not killers like the hunters.

2 and 6 are easy, blood fury and crossbowman for T2, pally for T6... there, no topic needed 4 and 5 are more difficult.

it seems AA is overated here,it is true they kills soo many unit in single shot but if enemy has init bonus to flying breathing dragons and some cases speed bonus boots,they are 100% dead before they do anything,and because many maps has in these times init bonus arties and init decreasing arties,they arent best.

and that is what Treants and tactics are for, it's amost impossible to attack them on the 1st turn. Besides, only dungeon or another sylvan could pull this off, the other factions are still screwed.

My opinion
AA = Fast and does a nasty dmg. Those that might at change against them would be:
Bears, they are solid and if they survie 2 rounds or use rune of charge, the archers are paralyzed.
Firehounds, some boots speed and they are by the Archers by first round = posibel dead archers.
Spectres, now it is getting tougher, 2 rounds where the archer misses . (tough)
Vindictor/squire, shield up and move slow. Could work in teory.
The rest stand a real bad change.. But the sprecte and squire doesn't change the best either, but they work in teory

Centaur is good but IMO they pale when compared to X-bow men. Blood furies not because they are so good in a big fight but because they are the ultimate creeping creature that give warlocks a huge advantage in the early game.
Ancient treants and thunder thanes are good but are still no match for pallies/ champions... their joust is just too powerful.

I chose arcane archers.Damn they are so strong,and i repeat they are my nightmare.
But let's not forget about blackbear riders.They have great speed,they die hard(if speed is not enough u always have rune of speed),and with rune of berseker i think(the stack will performe another strike if he succes first,something like this),well,always after many titles they pass they will always stun the enemy.Also blackbears have good inintiative,and(my opinion)they die hard.

Ok...who was the wiseguy that said that Vindicators were the best tier 3?
Seriously though, I voted for Arcane Archers. They are just too darned effective at what they do (killing  ). I have read various counterarguments that Master Hunters are better at close ranges, but it's rare for that situation to materialize. Also, AA's have 11 initiative vs MH's 10. 1 point makes all the world of difference in longer fights. Not to mention that No Ranged Penalty is awesome for creeping.
Hands down, Arcane Archers for the win! 
As for the Squire/Vindicator argument, I actually prefer Squires. Bash can be a life saver and Shield Others is just awesome. Words cannot truly describe how it can save you in a close match.

I will put Cerberus under Arcane Archer since it is really useful as well, but definitely not vindicator
