Hey people, those fight weren't supposed to be done. Those are events supposed to be avoided, but if anyone prefers to fight them, don't cry for being long.

It is exactly the same kind of prohibited fight as the god of air in TEWII. You can wait one week so he will die or you engage a long fight for a reward.

I have a question about this map. I've heard something about the werewolves quest being completed automatically, but it won't work for me.
I've got the Werewolves Killer artefact(which looks like the Dragon potion from Mutare's campaign in AB; it says I should search for someone with knowledge of the artefact, who might that be?), but the werewolves won't go away. I've visited everything else and enjoyed it, but I'm just stuck here...

Once you get teleported near the ruins, just enter them and you will be asked for the artefact. The coordinates are 52/126, if you need editor help.

Ah, thanks... That'll be a map reload for me...
I immediately attacked the Gorgons instead of entering the ruins. That must've deleted the scripted event, I guess.

You don't have to reload. The event can be visited at any moment, and will be deleted only if you accomplished it.

That's very strange considering the fact that I can indeed visit the ruins, which I have numerous times trying to find something, but nothing actually happened...

Never mind, my fault...
I kept entering the ruins via the wrong path (damn u pathfinder! ), i.e. not the opening of the ruins >_<'

Hi im stuck at wystan I cant defeat him without loosing atleast half of my army becuz he just spams mass Dispel, couldnt sphere of permanence be sooner?
I Defeat the other 2 with a similary strategy.

Hi, I just replied in maps4heroes thread. Block the gate with cavalries, and constantly clone your archangels. Use the clones to resurrect the casualties. Don't use your catapult, so turrets kill your clones every turn, hence you can clone again and again. Take care of Lizards first (try to blind them, so they do not retaliate, you have the expertise). The wiwerns and flies will get eventually out, so they will create a bit of havoc, but if gorgons and hydras are behind the gate, you should be safe. Cast slow so his dispel will always come too late.

I made it like this before to see it but First I put Light Cavalries to block the hidras and use the heavy ones to kill wyverines.And then I block it with Heavy ones
PS:I defeat the lizards with the archangle(AnR) and I casted slow so I could move the light cavalries in the front of the gate

You may be right. As I play this map quite fast (4-5 months) I don't have the time to buy abilities for all the creatures, so I leave all creatures except the ones improved. I never use light cavalries, but only 4 units (angels, sharpshooters, enchanters and heavy cavalry). Besides this, having less slots occupied gives me the opportunity to split them regardless the actual battle, which is decisive for some hard battles.

I think he is rather easy to defeat. Others were much more difficult. You can have casualties, as it is the last battle. Your best unit is the heavy cavalry. Did you find the hidden events for troops bonus?

The archangle cavalries and archers?
PS:I finished it in the last week of game and when I got all orbs it was month 11 so I couldnt get the 1k azures

Hi, I've got a problem. 'Unlock the quest guard at 1/79/1 and capture your second castle' - I cannot find the way to 1/79/1 I've got the water walk, already killed the hydras, checked on the map editor where's 1/79/1 but have no idea how to get there. Please somebody help me, because that's a nice map and I'd like to finish it.

Looking in editor isn't needed. There is a visible space near the seer asking for Thunar death, but:

It is on cursed ground
There is an event prohibiting boat landing

So the solution is to land back, scuttle boat to free the path, cast water walk in the previous area to cursed ground, then go up to the quest guards.
