Modifying existing creatures?

My brother and I are looking to modify a few existing creatures - not their animations or looks, we're happy with their graphics, but we're after their stats and stuff.

Is it possible to edit a creature's stats and abilities without having to re-animate them? I'm not particularly good with GIMP (ok, so I can draw some pretty nice eyes, but HoMM3 creatures aren't made of eyes unless they're Beholders/Evil Eyes) and I don't think I could do the graphics for new creatures.

Yes, it's completely possible to modify creatures' abilities with ERM. This is a scripter specially designed for WoG. However, learning everything about this program may make you change your mind

ERM (Event - Related Model) is NOT a scripter! It is a Script type, created by the WoG team. It can change EVERYTHING in the game.

Script - computer language which can be used for creating and moddifying applications of different type.

Scripter - program for editting scripts if you don't know how to use them
