Information on new season please...
I have some questions about the new season and i would like anyone who knows (no guesses please  ) to inform me and maybe others here.
When exactly are the rankings getting back to 0 ? 31st of August or 1st of September?
Is the clan ranking getting to 0 also? if no, do you know when this clan season finishes?
What about the rankings in the tournaments (the hero for example). are they getting back to 0 too or not? if not then when are they?

all points are reset to 1000, but clans, hero etc... continues as normal. Your winloss record remains along with persons played with, map history etc...
I will shut down toh at end of august, and it will take a day for me to manually add all the wyvern/dragon icons etc...

oh thats interesting! so we actually keep our win-loss record but just the points are reseted. clever

yes, seasonal changes only the points reset. the only time there is a complete reset was the transition between homm3 to homm4, and homm4 to homm5.

in my opinion thats a very clever thing to do. unfortunately a lot of players didnt know it earlier. almost all august went in vain because we weren't active as we believed games dont matter as statistics anymore

Icons are awarded according to the rank achieved at the moment. For instance, barons get wyvern. If I understand correctly then there is a different monster for every 100-200 points arrayed from weak to stronger Heroes 3 creatures. Look at profiles of veterans - many of them have Azure dragons meaning they were highly ranked emperors in previous season.
Maybe it would be funny if for H5 season we had H5 creatures as well? Though it would mean extra work for Ves and they wouldn't be really compatible with current icons....

One does not exclude the other but when it comes to iconic things H3 had better taste.
