I'm from Michigan. Don't care about baseball, don't understand the appeal of basketball, and got really annoyed when the hockey players went on strike for more money, so that really only leaves football. Unfortunately, our football team is one of the worst in the league. Until they get rid of the Ford family and people realize they need to stop supporting the Lions by going to games and buying merchandise, the Lions will remain a sucktacular team.

I am also from Michigan (Plymouth) and do understand the frustration of being a Lions fan. I am a big Wings fan... never much of a baseball guy, but do like to see the Tigers do well. As far as the Pistons are concerned, I was happy when they played hard. Now they are just fat and happy. Hopefully the new coach can spark some of that motivation that we've been missing.
What do you think about the Millen firing? Long overdue if you ask me.

I agree. Hopefully they'll find someone who can turn the team around. It would be nice to have a pro football team to be proud of.
