Turn timing!
We all know that some players' turns can last up to 20 minutes! But what about the turns in the final battle! Share your experience on that subject! Is it normal to need 1 or more minutes per move? Tell us!

I dont take ENOUGH time to think before I move in Battles.. Maybe I would not make such silly mistakes if I thought longer.

also i would like to make a second question after the first. When you lose 1 centaur for example in autocombat. do you replay it? and if you do replay it, do you think that these 3-5 minutes of your lost time in real life are worth that 1 centaur?

I sometimes do, if you lose 1 centaur in every battle you lag behind. Depends on the battle really. If it's against lots of tier 1, 2 I definitely will, if higher I'll probably be bored and accept. What do you care anyway? It's within the player's rights, besides you can personally tell off the person who bugs you.

A fight which needs a min of thinking per move got to be very good , It shows how critical every move in that battle.
And about replaying battles ,Yes i replay every single battle unless i think there is a chance that i myself can lose more then the AI did.
Like someone said if you lose 1 unit every fight then after few fights you can be too weak , Every unit can count.

Lucky for me back in the old day's I read a book, Watched tv or had other stuff to do while waiting.
I never rush anyone, I want to win fair. Not by forcing someone to make a mistake.

Usually if I loose a few teir 1..I just let it go. I more then a couple, or centaurs and it is against walkers..you better bet. Computer is HORRIBLE with stronghold. It's lost completely only for me to redo battle and lose 1 goblin.
As for turn time, I don't care if you take 2 days between turns. That is your right. But if you take a long turn and then I don't respond..might be because I fell asleep.
As for final battle, if you are not thinking through your moves..you will probably loose. Unless you have your enemy so outnumbered/powered it is a moot point.

Talk about Modest.
Yea i will still speak my mind when i think I should.
Even Poker players have their limits when waiting too long.
I can understand crucial parts in the battle, even if it is not the final battle.
If you are taking a long time, I think I have the right to know whats going on.
Usually I get a respond, it's called COMMUNICATION.
Then i am ok with it.
I think players who is waiting have a right to know.
Otherwise I agree that it is not a rule.
You just have to wait it out.
If you dont like it then put him/her on your black list & make sure you dont play that person anymore.

i behave the same as most of you when it comes to quick battle.
if i have casualties and i donīt think i can do better as the ai then i ll just skip it. but most of the time i can do better.
what is really getting on my nerves is exploiting the game.
for example use 1fury to creep zombies with a second hero. this is running away with the fury and attacking only with the hero.
takes a whole lot of time and this all for a few ressources more.

That really sucks, I'll allow myself to have the main do battle with several furies but not also with a secondary. It's both a strain to you and an annoyance to the opponent.

Which in many games can turn out decisive. If i can take the crystal mine and sulphur in day 1 be sure i will even if it takes 2 hours.

In order to speed things up I use only AC. I'm still slow if there are more than 3 heroes - I really get caught up in the maze of their peculiar names and mostly spend time deciding whom should I move first - hero with longest hair or the one that has at least one letter "R" in his name. Anyway, I invent the criteria to make this otherwise boring game more interesting.
IMO, many players lose because they rely on own lack of skill. AC is the best and I'm in love with it. Even considering adopting it in the family...if only AC would asnwer my knocking on the backside of monitor. I guess it is very proud creature and I must learn my patience.
To summarize, I love very fast players and I love AC.
