My gf has windows vista on her brand new laptop, recently bought a copy of Heroes and installed, it worked like a charm! Keep in mind though, u will have to ignore the "Failed" messages when the installer looks up your system, in my case the RAM memory (Heroes couldn't reckognize 2gb and mark as failed) and the Operative System. Ignore those warnings and continue anyway, it should work perfectly. Also, it might help to "run heroes as administrator".
