i have nothing to add at wolfsburg's words. i thank him for recognising things that others not only are not grateful but also turned their backs. i said from the beginning and have written it in a lot of posts, suggested to asheera, or at meeting new players , newbies etc threads that i am here to help the newcomers. when i came in this game, elvin took me by the hand and made me what i am. not an great player but a good one (as i want to think). i started my toh rankings with 0-12 lossed from elvin before i get my first win to someone else. but these 12 losses were the most important "wins" i have ever gotten. i learned things about the game and about the community, at that time elvin had 1500+ points so every win of his gave him 2-3 points! and thats 1 of the reasons i play newbies. not the points but as elvin did to help. whoever doesnt believe it it's his right. but atleast i repeat that i am here for the new players (when i have time ofcourse) to spend time and show them some things

Seems I did help in something after all  One of these days I gotta give you a 'proper' win 
Since it has come to this let's all take example from wolfsburg and avoid such incidents in the future. Toh can be a much better place without it. What's said is said and best forgotten.

My few cents...
I wanted to stay away from these kind of threads but still...
I joined Toh about 2 months ago, and at that point no other so-called "noobs", seemed to join, so I had to find a game as a newbie when every active player had 1400-1500 points. 2 people helped me, to play games and they were Elvin and Vangelis, I played my first 5 games with them, and I was really thankful for these games. A bit later I found more partners, so everything was very fine.
Then at some point, I had an argument with Vangelis (mainly due to his impatience), but we were able to solve this in an intelligent manner, which took about 5 mins of talking IN MSN. I told him what problems I had with him, we discussed it, and since then we had lots of good games.
He was ALWAYS fair & respectable in our matches.
Still, what I don't understand is when ppl, who actually do NOT play in toh (at the moment), come to the toh messageboard, and keep starting & continuing bashing at a member who they never ever played/talked with, solely based on what others said about him. It's easy to get pissed when a whole community is picking on you especially when ppl appear out of nothing, and keep mocking you.
About this "old saves" thingy... Have you ever tried to tell the opponent before the game how much time you'll have in the future to finish it? I refused a lot of games with Vangelis mainly because I didn't have enough time.
Since new season started, I played several games (even with no rules OMFG , and we didn't have any problems) with other players I have never played before, and ALL of them told found me a honorable & skilled player who was able to give them a fun & close battle. Even former Emperor Firedragon told me that I played well, if that matters at all.
So my point is that with a friendly & honest manner, and a little respect, everything can be fixed.
Remember, this is only a GAME.
I hope that I'm not the only lucky guy who found all of his opponents respectable...

Even tho i maybe a no contest for you... I would love to finish are game on Dueblo. i know u clam to not want to ever save. but when are game started you had this thing where you could only play so long because of the weather or season. so thats why we saved. and the reason we havent finished is i started a new job and just got back from vacation. so i the unworthy one would like to finish are save ole great one =D

Well I would just like to apologise to Vangelis. And I agree with Clayman. I have talked to Vangelis and had a couple of games with him, and it is a bit annoying when you have people that aren't involved at all just start posting here, e.g. Asheera or Lexxan. No offense to you two though.
Anyway, I am sick of fighting, so maybe it is time to just start all over and fresh again.Vangelis, hopefully we can have a few games together some time soon. Cheers.

Attila i never said you are unworthy. but after everyone thinks that i dont continue because i am afraid to lose to say what? to accept it? it is not true. also dont you think that a game that we started for last season it is unfair to continue this season? honestly i dont remember this game at all but think. what if i was playing just to experiment? because points didnt matter back then? as a lot of people (thankfully) know here i dont play only for the points but dont forget we like the points and thats why we are in toh. if you still think it is fair to continue a game with so many "mistakes" in it we will work something out.
william: you must take some things you said back too! sometimes people talk and talk and talk without caring how hard what they say is. anyway, i started this second waves of posts by saying that i stop this here, so everything ok by me

samiekl, do you think i have any problems with you? we can play a game whenever you want. that game that you are talking baout was surely in the first 3 days and as every normal person after sooo long would start a new one insted of using a 1-2-3 day save.

Vangelis, when you start bashing people you should know that there's a chance that this will turn against you. I didn't want to say why you stopped it, but since you don't either, i will. You said that you are not ready to play against me, or you aren't ready to learn yet. What kinda lame excuse is that? You should appreciate the fact that i played against you. So, about you being noob-friendly, how about me? i played you when i could win 0 points from you, so i had no reason whatsoever to play against you. How about Elvin? The list can continue, you know... I don't care about that save, i had many lost saves, some were my fault, some not. And you should accept the fact that people don't have your free time, they have work/real-life business/kids/wives/girlfriends and some of us really have hard time finding the time to play.

samiekl, nobody does me favors by playing with me. what do you meant i should appreciate the fact that you played with me? why? are you something more important that other players? samiekl i dont know what idea you have about the game, you, me and others but we are all the same in here. so please stop whining and find a game for yourself

Why are you picking on me exactly? As far as I know I didn't post much, and my few posts were supporting Vangelis (except that one with -100 respect points). And I was not the one to start two "drama" threads about this either
