Negative threads about others
I have to say something, even if this is not a thread I am Mod for. Do we really, I mean really need all these negative threads about other members? Please, please take the issue to the Mods (even HCM) if there is an issue with somebody. Now as I said, it is not my thread, and I won't step on Ves's toes. I am asking as a fellow member of the boards to stop. Read the CoC carefully. Please. I realize people will have issues with others, but their are better ways to handle it.

So this is a negative thread against all negative Member threads? 
For the Record, I do think there is a limit that shgouldn't be crossed. But we both Know that the really "I hate [MEMBER NAME]" threads all are around Elvin and that these threads are jokes. Personally I have no idea what Elvin thinks about them, and to be honest, I would be trouble with thme if I were in his shoes.
But are there any that I missed that aren't about Elvin?

On a more serious note - flaming thread initiators mostly bear the responsibility. Such thread always invite the defendant to post his/her perspective. Word by word and suddenly all logic is gone and only name calling dwells in these threads 
Morale - don't go in forums with your quarrels In worst case scenario, involve AllKnowingDentist to solve the dispute  Obviously, there are exceptions also to this guiding principle...

So that's why this is in ToH? I think this should be in Turban Tribunal. ToH IS getting a bad because of the big Dramae there ("Strider is a Cheater, I'll forfeit my Tournamant to him", "Natalka isn't a girl!", "Vangelis c'mon and play with me you dickhead")
I understand all too well what you mean. But find them a bit.... Entertaining

There are a few around here.. Naturally I don't really mind about mine, for instance Omega did it because I did not yet check the rpg update  I know he's not serious, however things here always are. X is lame, y is a cheater, z is dishonorable etc, it always comes down to members' pointless bickering and cheap shots against people they have personal issues with. I respect someone's right to warn others but that's that.

Well spoken, Mytical. I used to read those threads in the past, but I had some experience where I talked to fellow German players who couldn't confirm the accusations that were made here.
I now tend to ignore those threads and consider them rather annoying. Will they help anyone?
Make your own experience and if you have trouble with someone, just don't play with him any more.

No, it is not funny anymore. In fact to me it never was. Heck I am becoming glad I never got involved with the ToH if this is how people behave. I can understand having a problem with a player, but when you start 'bashing' people in public it becomes a community problem. This community doesn't need people bashing others imo.

I think it is quite funny. If you really don't like seeing people fight and bickering, then simply don't read the threads. This is just the ToH side of the board. This is where (usually) only the ToH members would post in. Sure, it might be a community problem, but you shouldn't let it be a problem if you really aren't involved in any of the discussion or aren't involved with ToH as a whole.

Normally I would agree William. However, read the CoC carefully, especially no.1. These threads which target specific members are against the CoC.

Sent just one example in HCM since I would be just as bad as the other threads if I posted specifics.
And as I said, I am not handing out penalties or going to interfear with how Ves does things. I am asking the community to clean it up. This is a plea. We do not need these threads.
Edit : these post become slippery slopes. Even when they start out 'ok' as they progress they statistacally get worse.

Some people deserve to be brought up to the attention of the TOH players.
Some players need to know about certain members & their behavior like that Natalka whatever her name is.
If there is a cheater I will tell everyone.
Some deserve it & some is unessary.
I wrote before that writing about someones behavior was wrong, then I was told by Elvin how bad she really was & then i deleted it.
Then Los Vangelis told me in IM how he is prejudice against Americans & I decided to have a little fun.
Point is players have the right to know who is a bad apple or not.
SOme think it's classless. I never cared, I always made sure people knew about cheaters etc.
One thing I hate more in heroes in the past was cheaters, & people like Atilla using his fame & vet status to screw rookies over.
It's just me though.

Yes, but in all honesty there is the VW if you just most post something. Or at least make a single sticky thread about problems with players

Thats impossible.
About 99% of TOH players never go anywhere but the TOH forum.
I figure if you got a problem, IM Rob.
He has been modding here since HC first opened.
We had trifles like this for yrs & it dies off just as fast eventually.
You need to let us deal with it, so we can deal with the problem.
Anything held back & it causes more problems in the games or place where you play.
You need to let the players just open up on here.
Eventually this thread will be on page 5 soon.

Ok, then what about the single sticky thread then? I am not stopping anybody from posting anything, just trying to talk to them. Most of these threads degenerate fast, and how does that help anybody?

Just let them be.
Eventually it will all be forgotten like most drama on TOH.
Just let the thread die off, people will lose interest.
If you out a Sticky on the thread, then it will never die off.
