To everyone I've recommended Sacred Gold to, GameTap.com now offers it for free apparently. I've never used GameTap, so I don't know how it exactly works. Still, there's nothing wrong with a free game.

Just got my copy today. Unfortunately since my copy is the international English copy, I'm stuck over on the European servers at the moment.
If anybody is interested in setting up a Heroes Community guild, let me know. I've created six characters on the closed net. They are:
1) Mordock the Mad Butcher - Shadow Warrior
2) Calculina Arithmia - High Elf
3) MechaCochran (Oh yeah, I went there) - Temple Guardian
4) Night Lord - Inquisitor
5) Lady Jade - Dryad
6) Lady Topaz - Seraphim

Music is nice, still can't run it on AA x4 which baffles me, and the elite textures make the game look pretty. Other than that, it's about the same as the demo. I also experienced a crash after completing a mission. Thankfully the game still gave me my reward. I've patched and hotfixed it too, which is great because the character statements have been greatly reduced. Honestly though, I haven't played that long due to some errands I had to run. I have set up online characters but haven't played them. I'm waiting until I get a guild or a little more familiar with the game before trying it out.
So far I've tried out the Shadow Warrior. He has an odd buff that allows you to summon 2 skeleton warriors to aid you which is quite nice. His Standard ability is pretty nice as well. Think of Titan Quests's standard but with the extra variables you get, like expanded range or increased attack + defense, healing or bonus to experience, etc, etc.
EDIT: There are some more bugs. The most major is the megamap background disappears. The only that remains are the icons which makes getting to point B from point A tricky. I've also experienced some more crashing and hangups.

Stayed true to the original then.

Who would be talking like that about the pirated one, lol. 
Or do you mean the "real" pirated versions that russia is full of.

just got mine today. I'll update ye with some impressions.
PS: i still think that the seraphim is almost the gayest thing alive. Almost - because she haz tits. If it was male, god forbid.

I have Sacred 1 (in fact the Gold edition), but it seemed too enormous and daunting for me that I am nowhere near ending the game.
Despite this I like to play it, despite the apparent "hack-and-slash" nature needing a lot of side-missions to keep players interested. There is some strategy in the levelling up of your characters and choosing what to specialise in.
I believe Sacred 2 is a good game (it is already available in my country now), but I guess my comp's specs would be minimum specs for this game.

I don't have a password on it mainly because the game doesn't seem to work when I do. It's strange.
