Music help. Post your most epic music
Once before I heard a music(choral and epic music) before in 2001 or around 2001.
I heard it and I was nearly frozen.The tones,the music and everything else was perfect.But I never understood its name.Recently I heard it again in a documentary but I still could not find its name and I even can not find it in youtube.
So I came with the idea that why not post and share the most epic music.
Post the name of the most epic music you have heard.At best your Top 5 and hopefully my 7 year struggle to find it will end.

It was a documentary about a luxurious ship with sails that could move both with its diesel engines and sails.
Can not recall its name.Maybe Norwegian star or so.

Hmmm, I was about to ask if it was 1492: A Conquest of Paradise (soundtrack by Vengelis), but then I saw you said it was a documentary.

This was the song I heard that time.
I finally got it,thanks again.
PS the thread may go forward,new music is always pleasant.
PS 2:maybe it should not be just for epic music.Hit music is also welcome.

i don't know if this ir where it started or if it's from some classical peace or a game or something but the intro is just so awesome even our brasilian-german warrior and elven arher mod would lay down and praise god if they heard it. 
Stratovarious - Black Diamond
This intro has just got to be one of the most catchy tunes ever. I have no idea if they copied it for this or has it been copied from this to everywhere. Again just awesome. 
2 Unlimited - Get Ready for This
Then there are the game tracks. Some of them are just too plain good. Let's start from

Then last but not least I place all the piano theme's from Resident Evil series. There ae so many and I couldn't find the best ones even after an hour search on youtube so you'll have to do with

Hehe, that song by Vangelis is absolutely great. A lot of his music is similar to that song that you heard.

I must disagree. I went through his entire catalogue and that song was the only one worth buying IMO. Most of his music strikes me as thin and repetitive.

Most of the Final Fantasy music is epic. One of the reasons I love the game. That music can really suck you in.

That music is overrated IMO, it's somewhat repetitive, it could be shrunk to 2 minutes and it might be a lot better. It has a great mood but it gets old after so many repetitiveness (except the 'action' part).

Well yes it has a certain despair feeling however note that once you "train" your ears to many kind of soundtrack music, that won't feel so "magical" anymore and you'll get the sense of repetitiveness (especially if you have listened previously to other repetitive music)

CAn someone tell me the name of the music played there,it does not seem to be from the movie it self.The music that starts at 0.33 or is it the same?
