[NCF (?) - New Software]*.pak, *.h5u & *.h5m Editor !!
Hello guys !
Look at this wonderful freeware ! It has been created by russian. It is really good. AND it is in english too !!
Normally, it must be used for maps editing without open WorldEditor. It has a LUA scripting possibbility for the script of the maps, but the best is : We can also open .pak files .h5u files with it ! Simply in selecting the file you want to open and modify, you have the possibility to select the All Files filter and then... Create your NCF creatures super-easily !

It is simply... Amazing. It allow us to boost our speed in NCF code scripting !

Well Total Commander is excellent and enough for me, but this program is great for those that don't have it!

A great generic File Manager/Browser, etc. It's not linked with HoMM 5, it works in general (basically it's a replacement for Windows Explorer - and it's much better IMO)
But it's not free though...
EDIT: Google it if you want to find out more.

Maybe finally I'll be able to modify anything not using [...] editor button  This would be great for creating custom objects and creatures.

Anyway, I can't load a geometry file in this program, I tried.
BUT in opening a pak file, then open an external file, then select a geometry file and then see it in Hexadecimal, we can see this :
