it does not require that much of reflex. If you think everything over, it's not that hard. You just need a bit of timing.

I agree with Azagal, I don't like insanely hard games and replaying over and over again. It just gets frustrating... well for me at least (could be because I'm also somewhat impatient)
Thank God most games have a Save function and don't make me replay the entire game when I die

Played the game yesterday and it's **** imo, absolute crap. Definitely won't be playing that again.

Quote: How can a game where one false step makes you replay everything be fun?
You have only to replay the last level, all of them cna be finished in less than 3 minutes I believe. Feel free to do it unlimited number of times
Personally I find it one of the main probabilities factor, just learn to make yet another step every time . Of course it may be frustrating after too many fails, but then you can always skip the level.
All in all, the game demands you to do it perfectly.

"Perfectly" is the wrong word. There is no freedom no "choice" just trying an infinite number of times till you get that one step closer and then trying again and again and again till you get step 2 etc.
Dude that's no fun that's just down right stupid and boring oh and frustrating.
But obviously you'll get somewhere if you have a certain logic so it can't be that bad. It's just that I find stuff like "one step wrong and you fail" stuff to be too strict. I prefer games where I have atleast some liberty (TETRIS FTW!!)

In general there are many ways to complete most of the levels, just like my favourites Run For a Life, TNT or Chaos :]
However some of the puzzles need to have only one (and complicated) solution to be challenging, I hope that's logical?

You've been makeing sense all this time^^. Maybe I should have been clearer. This is simply not my kind of game. Most probably exactly because of those kind of levels and maybe because I get bored to quickly by puzzle games (most probably because they already rape me at super easy difficulty with guide lol).

I saw this movie. So the game can be finished...
Just joking. I never got past lvl. 25, but I was little when I was playing this game. I'm sure now I can finish much more levels, but I have better games to play.
Supaplex was great, anyway.

I'm just glad that I had never heard of this game when I was a child. Now I would like to forget the game. And I agree with Azagal.

I'm pretty sure the old arcade "jump over that platform" stuff was much more irritating.

Lol, possibly. I remember playing many games that have that and some were extremely irritating. Sometimes the roof was too low and I had to jump at the perfect time and way just to get over the platform. Other times some were just unreachable and it usually got me pretty angry a lot of the time, lol.

I agree. The advantage of supaplex over those games is that it rarely demands speed. The level is a set of puzzles, and you pass it by guessing how to solve the puzzles one-after-another. Once you learn how to get through past first narrow situation, you ignore it completely and try to find a solution for the next one. Once you have found all, you replay the level going through every of the puzzles this time.
The fastest and best way of playing this game (isn't annoying, at least for me )
