OMG this thread is almost sirious! 
Good initiative Celf but i doubt there gonna be any change. People have nothing 'good' to say so they just spam their hearts out and while the others either has nothing to say they'll just complain what the person above just said..
Solution? .. is tolerance. Plus capability to look in the mirror once in a while and say "Hey you're an A$$FACE"

Pretty much everything there is to say .
But still I think a general more positive outlook would help a bit aswell. I'm not talking about optimism or " " all the time just a general more positive feeling~~ but yeah I'm crazy I know lol.

I hate posting seriously, especially in the VW, but it seems you people leave me no choice. Here goes, first of all some responses:

Pandora proposed that idea to Val and he agreed. It was made so that people won't be afraid to have fun in the VW because they may need they're posts later. Remember how I mentioned last year's spam wave in the beginning of the post? And said that there's something to be said about quality? Well, here it is - the main difference between last year and now is the active VW members. As opposed to last year when most posting members here were newbies who didn't know right from wrong, today there are hardly any new members here. Moreover, we have a lot of good spammers here now, both those who developed their skills recently and experienced veterans who came back for a visit. And frankly, I enjoyed spamming here in the past couple of days. Why does it make a difference who spams, you ask? Because with so many good spammers every spam thread can become a good spam thread. All you (which means every one of us) need to do, is post good spam, start talking with each other, have good old fashioned fun, and then 5 pages of bad spam will miraculously become 5 pages good spam that's fun to read.

Way to go with over-exaggeration. I don't say it in every single thread but I have been saying it in a few because recently, the spam has gotten a bit out of hand, don't you think? Or would you rather just sit back and just watch it all?
And funny, you only reply to my things but nothing else. Do you have something against everything I say or something?

Ah thanks Death that was a typo of mine. Of course it was ment to say "quote". It was a reference to will being upset (or whatever it is he is) about Geny only quoting him.

I propose creating a sticky "Universal Spamming Thread" thread here in the VW where you can all post your useless SPAM posts like "k", "what's up?" and such...
Sure, after it goes to 25 pages, delete it and create a new one.

Ok, maybe the part about replying to every thread is more true for Asheera. I just remembered seeing you in a lot of those threads so I wrote that to you. I now retract my statement to you persoanlly and generalize it for complainers as a group. Or something like that.
As for why I only quoted you: like Azagal said - you're the only person on "the other side of the fence" who said anything worth quoting in this thread. It's that simple.

I'm not saying that having 5 pages of spam is better than 3, not by a longshot. I'm just saying that trying to stop that by complaining is much much worse than trying to turn the threads that already exist (whether you want them or not) to good and interesting threads. Because while 5 pages of spam may not be as well as 3 pages of spam, you have to agree that 5 pages pf good spam is better than 5 pages of completely useless spam.

Who said only one thread for average spam? I'm talking about bad spam, completely without any kind of sense.
'k' is not always bad though, depending on context. But when people use it just to use it without making any sense then it's like BAD spam.

As for the topic at hand...
1) I agree that Celfious is right about the bashing. Its just rude to jump on someone every time they post something you don't like. Humour and taste is up to the individual, and you should try to have some respect for people's rights to think differently. If you don't like a thread, just don't read it. Easy as pie.
Of course, this doesn't apply to me - since I have to read it, and I have to clean it up - I can and will whine and complain when I hate your spam. Also, Geny can too - because he's my liaison, and could very well be speaking for me. Add Elvin and MightyMage and whatever other HQ type folk might pop in, we always have the right to fuss about things that you do that we don't like - turnabout is fair play, you always come to us with what you don't like
2) Thread limit! Yes! This is something that I have been whispering in Valeriy's ear for a while now...Not because I dislike the threads themselves (which I often do) but because I really dislike the trend the VW is following lately. I watch things like thread view/reply ratio , threads per day etc - the rate at which you guys are popping out the silly threads is choking the life out of the threads that have potential to be fun.
This is simply because when 4 threads pop up every 5 minutes, those other threads are getting shoved to the back where they aren't seen. I just finished the cleaning, and had to delete threads that weren't very old at all because they were at page 4! That's ridiculous - and what's worse, the average times viewed were between 10-20.
Those are some bad stats.
We would be much better off if people limited the threads and worked at making the ones that are good worth reading, that way too - I can move more to the tavern!
3) People really need to chill out. There's so much bickering and crabby pants whiny stuff lately. Come play, join in a three-way knockoff, make some friends and leave the negativity at the door - it makes it so painful to come here when I'm constantly being run over with the blahhhhhhhhhhhhhh stuff.
edit oh wait - there's a 4!
4) No more freakin' Namus.
So there.
PS: I will eventually move this thread off to the Tribunal - stop panicking at the thought that a precious shiny might be lost forever
PPS: To those of you fuming that I must favour Geny, you're probably right
