ok, I guess what the next round is.
Goliaths slayers
Small creatures of your army benefit from the "anti-giant" ability
(+4 attack and defense against large creatures)
Martyr
Using half of his turn, the hero can give the "taunt" ability to the friendly stack of his choice. The effect is permanent, until you choose another target. Only one stack at a time can be a martyr.

I'm pretty disappointed that this contest has faded to oblivion, with one judge not even bothering to comment on the last entries, even though there were great many participants and lots of cool perks, so the contest was pretty lively.
Pity.

Ok, in Blizzardboi's absence, I'll give you your next chalenge.
Round 27 - Alci hi-jacks the thread
You shall create two perks for the Combat skill. One perk must be a basic perk (i.e. inner circle, no other perks required), the other must be an advanced perk (i.e. second or third circle, requires other perks within this skill and possibly outside).
Combat
Basic: Hero direct attack consumes 10 % less ATB.
Advanced: Hero direct attack consumes 20 % less ATB.
Expert: Hero direct attack consumes 30 % less ATB.
Time frame is two weeks from today, april 22nd.

Nice nice nice!
A needed Classic:
Strike-around:
Only for melee-attacking hero classes (Barbarian, Demon Lord, Knight, Runemage?). The hero gets the activated combat ability "strike-around". It allows teh hero to target any square on tehe battlefield, and attack al surrounding squares (Like Ice Ring). Each creature standing in this attack, suffers 105%-(5xnumber of squares in ability range occupied by creatures)% of the Hero's normal combat damage. (so 100% when he its one enemy creature down to 65% when all squares in the attack are occupied by creatures) The ability can only be used once per battle. However, it counts as a normal attack for the "Combat"-skill bonus.
Basic Perk not for contest:
Retaliation:
No Preferences. When the enemy hero directly performs an attack on one of your creatures, your hero instantly is at turn and randomly attacks an enemy creature for full damage.
Advanced perk for Contest
Protector:
Needs Retaliation. When an enemy creature attacks one of your creatures, there is a chance of 50% that your hero will prevent the attack AND attack the enemy creature that attacked for full damage. However, if this happens, the hero's initiative is decreased by 50% (so his turn will be later) When this ability was once triggered, it is used up and will be refreshed just at the heroes next turn.

basic perk :
Trample (for melee heroes)
Piercing arrow (for rangers)
this an activated ability, identical to "rush dive" of the battle griffin, except that there is no delay between the activation and the attack.
the hero attacks everyone on a line which is 2 squares wide.
each struck unit suffers 75% of the normal damage.
it costs all the atb.

Ok, in this case I'm prepared to take the judgung part.
Since I've stillin interest in creating perks, I'd suggest this:
I'll create my perks AFTER the rating of a round is completed; MY perks CAN (volunterily), but doesn't have to be rated by the participants in the new round (I swear, the rating of the perks wouldn't have any influence ony my rating).
Is that ok for everyone?

I think that's ok - as you see, I have occasionally on previous rounds posted my thoughts for entries, so I see nothing wrong with that. Whether contestants will judge them, I guess we can leave open.

Right, that's what I meant. If they like, they CAN rate them.
So since alci clearly is the senior part here, maybe he can set the time limit for round 27.
For who's going to set the next round - shall we take turns, alci?

Time limit for ongoing round was set in the post. As for who manages future rounds - take a shot at it if you feel like it. If I want to bid in, I'll let you know.
PS: I like judging, but like some of you have seen, sometimes I'm pressed for time. So if there is somebody else who wants a go at it, let me know. A complete turnover of judges might be refreshing.
