There was another option: give that child to his father. But the social workers failed at this task. And Great Britain now owns the title of baby killer. And i thought LT goverment sucked. Adding stupid taxes is one thing, doing nothing to save a life is another. This pisses me off badly. In the Baby P affair only one person was punished. A nurse who couldnt see that the child is paralyzed and has broken spine and ribs. She lost her job. And that was it. Are all goverments that stupid? Perhaps. Or maybe blind to everything that happens in their country.

which they didn't
that's the consequence of your abortion definition. Look I'm not saying you advocate that but it's just the "next step"
but I'm talking to the walls anyway. In the future we'll see babies getting tortured on live TV

The next step? So you mean that allowing abortion is the first step of allowing termination of life of older and older people, starting with babies?

I see you are quoting mvass from some other conversation. Anyhow, can you be more specific on the future scenario of world to be, what exactly will happen? Besides torturing babies on tv (that was a provocation, right?)

The future will be like this:
it is "ok" to do whatever you want to any "biological" human (that includes fetus) if he/she can't sustain himself/herself. After all that's why we do it to fetuses right?
First there will be the "humane murder is ok" (not torture) but then they will say "if that's ok why isn't doing whatever we want to them ok as well?"
of course there will be counter-groups and all that. Not saying that this will succeed maybe it won't. It's a possibility.

Good job misinterpreting my argument. Fetuses and babies are different. Fetuses (that I would allow to be aborted) require nourishment 100% of the time, and would die almost immediately if they were removed from the womb. But babies, as is well-known, do not tend to die a couple of seconds after birth.
And "biological" human? As opposed to what - a "non-biological" human?

No I know what you said. I said "a couple of seconds" why draw the line there? This line will get closer with time. That's the problem, you don't fix it by putting an arbitrary line without any backup except the "well we have to have abortion because sometimes it's damn convenient for something they are responsible/have done"

Some people consider someone humans only if they can interact, can you believe it?

good point. Very good point. You get an extremely luxurous... Muffin. To be serious this is sad but true. Anotheq example: a drunk driver kills few 8 year olds and gets away with 2 years in jail. And he denies the fact that he drove being drunk and killed two kids.

I read this:
Quote: After a nine-week Old Bailey trial, Jason Owen, 36, from Bromley, and a 32-year-old man were convicted of "causing or allowing the death of a child or vulnerable person".
The boy's mother had already pleaded guilty to the same charge, and all three will be sentenced on 15 December.

we think the same. This kind of people deserves this faith. Or to rot in an asylum overfed with drugs and turned into vegetables for the rest of their miserable lives

I agree Kipshasz.
And as already stated(why am i too late to this tread again?), a fetus and a baby is different. The jews are doing a good definition of it.

Well it can be done in any number of ways, impaling, hanging or beheading was also popular. But to not promote brutality, maybe a single shot in a dark room would do just nicely. Or maybe commit them as specimen to medical research, at least they'd be put to some use. Just be wary we don't become what we despise.
Anyway, a great tragedy, as any of such horrors.

Heh. We are considering lowering the age when a person can vote to 16 from the current 18. I guess I should oppose it vigorously, because by your logic in the future the age will possibly be lowered to 6!

It's a lot more probable than lowering it to 6 from 18 directly.

A probability of 0,0001% is a lot bigger than 0,0000001%. That it is bigger, doesn't mean that it is a big probability.
