I like it how men always contradict themselves regarding women 
cause each has their own experience -- why don't they just admit that they're generalizing only from their experiences?
and trust me not all women are snowes that want to "use" you (you can use the word "most" though)... unless you are 40 years old and she is 20-25, which is a pretty good sign

So I think Pandora actually gave some good advice in this thread.
All women are different, don't generalize them into one category.
However I'd like to add my own two cents.
All women are insane, just in different ways. Don't generalize the way in which all women are insane into one category.

that's quite silly to not accept the truth I think, how are you supposed to know each other if you keep lying to each other? not surprising that many couples fail.
there are some theories I read and which could make sense, some people say that life has become so hard with the competition, the struggle to find a job and keep it, etc... that we expect our significant others to be the "thing" that will make us forget this insane world. we have quite that super romantic vision about love of a bubble out of the world where we would be left alone with our partner and forever happy. of course that's not possible, and maybe it's why it fails so often, by wanting too much, people are eventually disappointed, while they could have much less and be happier because their expectations weren't that high.

I think I may have titled this thread wrong and I suppose it deserves some explanation. When my ex and I broke up, it initially crushed me (hence the what is love thread) and it made me question myself and wonder if even at my age, I no longer understood women or relationships. So for awhile I became a whorish @$$hole and defended my actions by saying I was "learning how to understand women again".
I dated a lot when I was in highschool but I never counted any of them as actual relationships because after a week or two of making out with some girl I barely knew we were apparently in a relationship. Go figure. Then for whatever dumb reasons we break up one example being this girl I was "dating" at the time jumped on my back in the hallway. I didn't catch her and she fell on her butt. I continued to walk away because I didn't care. I was like that. I still am sometimes. She dumped me because I acted like a dick. It was true and it didn't bother me because when I was younger I didn't invest real emotion into the girls I dated. Mostly just hormones.
Around 19 to 20 years old I started caring a little about the girls I saw. I actually maintained real relationships for longer then a month. I had things figured out...for me at least. Since I loved Jasmine and she dumped ME, it kinda shattered what I thought I knew.
That's all done and over with now. If you know me then you know my story with that dumb broad.
As for me and the whole almost having a kid thing, I have no idea what was up with that. It was a new situation for me because I've always either used protection or the girl I was with was on birth control. I didn't think when I hooked up with her. We had a scare, took a home test, it lied I guess, went to the doctor and he told her she was not pregnant.
But like I said before, if she did end up carrying my demon spawn, I would have taken responsibility for it and at the very least pretend to be a responsible adult.
I still see my "almost baby mama" but after all that we're slowing things down a bit.

Thanks for the update MM...so what is your ultimate goal? Will you eventually settle down and have kids? Is that boring? Will you forever be hooking up? Why is "whorish" behavior so bad? You say you engage but simultaneously you frown upon it.
