Just had a great idea.I have a great map,called Hero's fest.A good thing is that all of us will be able to play at same time.Basically u get almost unlimited resources,2 vills and army that will never end creating all u have to do is kill opponent.Ill post a map soon on the 1st page top post.

Killing the opponent is good, but what's more fun for me is what I have to do in order to achieve that. If I automatically start off with a large amount of resources, an army and two villages, then it isn't much fun since it will be kinda easy.

Actually download that scenario play that vs comp(very easy compared to ppl) and then say same,u have lots of resources,but 2 vills,army will be given to u 1 soldier and a time(about 1/sec).Just play it and then say same.But that was 1 of choices we need to decide what to play or we ll never play this.

It might be very good, but I still wouldn't want to play it. The fact that you would start off with two villages and a lot of resources already kinda ruins it for me. Gaining resources and managing your economy from the ground up is all a part of the game and that makes it a whole lot more fun. I used to love Deathmatch, with all the resources that you start out with, however, I eventually realised that it was boring starting off with such a large amount of resources and the only thing you do is just build stuff and then send over soldiers and then have no other challenges. Gathering resources can sometimes be challenging and that's what is fun about it. Perhaps there is a last gold mine over the river but it is quite close to the enemy. What would you do? Send over some villagers and take a risk or leave the gold mine and instead get Wood and then sell it at the Market for Gold? Those kinds of situations are good and add some twists to the game and just keeps things going good. I hope you know what I mean. 
The map might be very fun, but not for a multiplayer game. It would be good if everything was random, that way we do not know what the map is going to be like. Plus, you might be very good at the map whereas some other players might have never played it before and then they will have to take a while getting used to it and they are then at a disadvantage.

Maybe Anti_Paladin, JoonasTo or even Guitarguy might sign up. I'm hoping for that anyway since I have played with Guitarguy and Anti and they are both quite good and what JoonasTo posts about in regards to the game seems to me as if he has quite a bit of knowledge about the game. About the map, just do as most people have said...Random Map.

Since no one wants to participate ill just post my saved game.Here is my last game i played today.I enjoyed it and this is one of best games i have had.(for those who don't know what to do with it,save it in SaveGame folder,start game,go to saved games and load it).

i have tried to play aoe2 online but i cant ...
I have already tried everything...
I do can play lan with my neighbours.
Single player is too easy btw, because i play this game since it was released and before that i played aoe2, i played aoe1(the game on wich all nowadays rts-games are based upon)
I really like aoe2, its probably my favourite
I know, i know, bad graphics, you cant turn the view, ...
But the gameplay is the best 
I was only 6 or 7 when i played aoe1 and still i like it
they completely screwed it up with aoe3... 
And that's how world's greatest game line comes to an end
