What country are you from? Traveling soon?
What country are you from and how do you like it?
I'll start. I'm from the United States and I've traveled to many different parts of the States. I got my passport recently and plan to go to Europe and maybe the Caribbean in the summer. Finances permitting of course.
I've been a stay at home kind of guy for a long time,I'm used to things around here, but now I've been bitten by the travel bug. My hobbies are pretty international so I'll get good benefits out of travel.
Next?

I'm from Belgium, Flanders to be more precise. (Flanders is the northern dutch-speaking part.) I never travel a lot. mostly, because people tend to travel outh. I hate warmth! So I went to spain a few times, but never liked that. I went to France where I picked up some French to keep me alive when I'm alone in France. I went to England as well (I loved it there) and that's how much I travelled. I wish I could travel to Russia or Finland...

Well, if you want to be in a place where nobody says anything, Finland will be a paradise...
And to be on-topic, I'm from Finland, but I've been living in Luxembourg for 13 years. I visit Finland several times a year. The furthest place that I've been to is the Canary Islands, but I don't like hot places that much, either.
I'd like to go to Australia or Japan someday.

Sweden, in the county of Närke (its in the south, but almost in the middle so no snow here anymore /cry ) and in the city of Örebro
I love to travel myself. I have been two Turkey two times, Greece one time, all nordic countries except iceland (which I would love to go too, although).
I have to admit though that we just crossed the border into Norway with car for fun, and was never there for more then 5 minutes
And I was on Legoland when we were in Denmark, and I was on the Finland Ship/Ferry/Boat when I was in Finland - so maybe none of them counts
I have also been to Egypt one time. EVERYBODY should go to Egypt and see the Pyramids like I did.
Tuths golden deathmask was really beautiful and I loved the Royal Grand Egyptain Museum.
However, I have to admit that Egypt was the most ugly country I have ever seen. Kairo is huge but looks horrible.
There is only sand, heat and rocks there.
However a small toursist town called El Gouna was beautiful though. It looked like Venice.
Im going to Egypt again in March, just to see the Valley of Kings. After that im going to Japan and some spanish country to practise my espanol lol

I am from Germany, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Langenberg (near to the Ruhrgebiet, if you've heard of that. It's the region around the river Ruhr, were a lot of cities are located: Dortmund, Essen, Duisburg, etc.
I've been travelling a lot with my father in my childhood and youth, and I've been to France (one time in paris and a couple of times in south of france, near to the spanish border, on the eastern side of the pyrenees), Netherlands (uncounted times, for it's not too far an, therefore, good for shorter vacations of 3-5 days), Austria and Swiss (well but mostly just when travelling to a more southern country in europe^^), Italy (many places, indluding Rome and Venice), Croatia (on a small island, don't ask me where exactly it lies^^), Greece (at many places there, again, and also on Crete), England (London^^) aand, finally, I've been to the United States one time for a week or so, most of the time in Philadelphia, but two days in New York (and I have to say I really disliked this city, too grey and loud and dirty and...well, I just did not like it).
I would especially liek to travel to Ireland or Scotland one day, as well as Canada, but Scandinavia, Poland and Prague (Czech Republic) would be cool, too.

I was born in Russia, in a university town in the Moscow Oblast. When I was seven, I moved to northern Oklahoma in the US, into a town of about 5000 people. I haven't traveled much, though. I've been to Washington D.C., and have actually sat in one of the seats in the House Chamber in the Capitol. Plus, this spring I'm going to England for a week, going to London and a few other places.

I'm from Romania and never traveled outside the country. One would be because of the costs and the other because I hate any kind of traveling... it's not that I wouldn't enjoy seeing the rest of the world, actually I would enjoy very much, but I hate the long travel regardless if it is by train, place or car. And I would also miss all the stuff from here which I'm used at.

I like to travel as economicaly as possible. Next year i'm planning to travel around Russia with a old VAZ-2121(aka Niva) and a couple of friends
