Happy new year!
Tell us the story of your happy transition to 2009!
Me:
My familie, my and and my cousine headed for the neighbors place about 23:45. I was ordered to pick up the rockets, so i grabbed my shoes and walked over the the back entrance and snatched them before then walked around the house and caught up with my dad.
My neighbors got a so-called open house at new years eve meaning most people in the neighborhood stay on the small party it end up being there, and we headed there for the rockets also.
So we arrived and after a little chit-chat and a few hellos the clock become 23:55 and we all headed out to shot up the rockets. A few rockets was also in the air when we got out, either for fun or their clocks was 5 minute ahead of the one in the neightbor house.
So one of the neighbors mounted up a little of the fireworks before throwing me this flameable stick thingy and told me to light the fuses while he ran for cover. Not really cover, but more like standing safe in the crowd. So i did as i was forced and lit the first batteri boxes then walked/ran for cover hoping i had not managed to mess it up so they would fall over then the rockets would start come flying toward the crowd we where.
But lucky it went good this year to, everything flew into the air and made pretty sparkes and lots of noise. Pretty sure the last batteri i ignited defected due the number of rockets it fired, but it was the last one so who cared anyway? Nobody was going to go over and throw it away before tomorrow some time, and the freezing cold would likely have done its job by then.

So I guess we write our new year?
As I was up all night and didn't got to bed before 12.00 yesterday. I slept to around 18.00 where I was ordered to eat dinner. After that I sat down at my computer and played Neverwinter Nights with a friend to 23.30, where I went out to watch the sky explode.
My family used three batteries, not more cause my father said "There has to be limits to how much money we blow up! The second batteri had an defect and sent out all the fireworks at once, barely missing our house, I got something into my mouth. Some of the neighbours(like diablo) sent up rockets which is illegal in Norway.
Now I sit here, eating donuts, lefser, pepper cakes and crumcakes, while enjoying my coke.

Was it so that it wa only illegal to buy or? Nevermind, batterys rulez  But there was fever booms this year thoo.

I spent the last minute of the year and the first 8 minutes of the new year dropping a nice log down the toilet, so I definately felt GREAT.
After that I went back to fapping to pron.
It was nice.
Some snows made a lot of noise though, didn't like that very much...
Oh, and a happy new year! to all the adults here (Totally worth a possible quality penalty).

We went to our neighbours. They have a very cute daugther, four years old. Her name is Alva and she is the best friend of my 5yr old little sister Sabina.
I played some wii and Xbox360 with their 7-8yr old son who is ------ annoying. We also ate great food, but I wasnt so hungry.
The little children didnt like the firework noise later, but I enjoyed it. It is beautiful but cant be good for the enviroment. Last year we went to the castle to see the fireworks there.
At around 00:20 we went home to ourselves (we live like 15m away from each other) because my sister was crying -.-
An average new year. Was better and funnier last year though.

I came home from work at about 10pm, then watched the TV with my mum and sister while going back and forth from the tv to the computer until about 11:55, and that's how my new years was like. I've definitely had better but it was still okay.

To be honest i dont remember everything, but here's what I remember:
23.00: we've sat down and started ating our last dinner of 2008. My cousin is very pissed because I opened the vine instead of him.
23.15: Granps opens a bottle of vodka, my bro shows how fast he can drink his beer. Younger cousins are very jealous.
23.37: We've finished the vodka, and start preparing to go outside.
23.45: We're outside. My uncle tries to light a bonfire(a family tradition, at almost every celebration there's a 3 meter tall bonfire), the youngsters are messing with the fireworks.
00.02: Champagne flows like a streaming river, most of the fireworks suck, because my cousin(fat spoiled brat) picked them. My bro is completely wasted, so are our girls.
01.22: We've came back to our house, the drunk ones fell asleep and the rest of us celebrated till 06.30.
What can i say? Pretty good celebration it was. I took some photos, dranked a lot, and singed till my throat became sore. Now my best friends are lemon juice and mineral water.
