Demon Farming HP numbers?
I'm somewhat confused - I've read just about in the following topic about demon farming that one pit lord resurrects 50 HP of demons from 35 hp of dead allies.
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/detail.php?board=63965&topic=47858744&message=524131808
I don't have this ratio!
I have 6 pit lords. 6*50=300 HP
I sacrifice 37 imps (148 HP) and get 4 demons (140 HP). I should have gotten 148*50/35/35=6 demons.
I sacrifice 53 imps (212 HP) and get 6 demons (210 HP). I should have gotten 212*50/35/35=8,65 demons.
I sacrifice 70 imps (280 HP) and get 8 demons (280 HP).
So it looks like one pit lord resurrects 50 HP of demons from _50 HP_ of fallen creatures, and not 35 HP. (at least 50 HP per pit lord, I didn't have enough imps to test if my 6 pit lords would raise 9+ demons).
Or did having WoG installed change this? (Though I'm playing Complete right now, not WoG...)

Ok, I supposed that since that post had a lot of information I didn't knew, all of it was exact...
I love this strat btw, when I discovered it, Inferno went from my most hated to most played town! It's really nice to be able to take out a Naga Bank and a Griffon Conservatory early in week 2 in Impossible difficulty with practically no hit points lost!
It also raises the preparations before combat to a fine art - do it wrong, and it's your Pit Lords that will become fodder!

You could decrease the number of imps to 35 and still raise the 4 demons. So you wasted 2 imps if you went into combat with a stack of 37.
The 6 Pit Lords can raise as many as 8 demons, but in your example you don't have enough fodder to do that. To raise 8 demons you need 8*35=280 HP of imps. So you would need 280/4=70 imps to raise 8 demons.

Yes, I don't know why I did that, maybe because I mixed up the available resurrection power from 3 pit lords, and the actual HP needed for 4 demons...
