Why did you leave this forum
This forum seems be most of the time dead.
Why? Why you have stoped posting and making new threds ?
Is it the new HOMM V has came up and took to other forum ?
or
You just get bored with H IV game ?
or
Something else ?
I am curious about your story ?

On a serious note:
I suck so much at heroes that I can't ever give a factual opinion about strategy, so I'm sorry for never ever having tried to make a heroes thread.

Maybe thats the reason why it is dead
For me the first impresion was crucial i expexted something more HOMM 3 style solutions in gameplay and it came out that HOMM 4 was innovative game that need some new aproach.

H4 is a bad game for those that played it only once or twice.....
It is hard to change an habit of playing so for those that do not want to change and rethink there strategies it is easier to jump from H3 to H5. H4 requiers new aproach..... of playing
And i thought that new is good it is fresh so less boring... but not to all i see...

Exactly, it's just different from the other heroes games, can't say I like it though (but honestly, I might just be conservative(I think I should dig up my old H4 disc and try it out again)).

I actually like h4 better than both h3 and h5. maybe because I suck in h3 and 5 but is somewhat good at h4. but the reason I'm not posting here is that because of my damn computer heroes 4 don't work on my comp. which is kinda strange cause H3 works on it. anyway if I had the game installed UI would be in this part of the forum and write some startegies and my builds and such.

So the H4 it is cursed very few like it and even if the do nobody knows that. When some want to play H4 it suddenly crashes or even don't start, while H3 & H5 work all the time...
Curse I say...

When I played it, I used to think it was great. The original storyline was fairly amazing for a computer strategy game, and the hero system was quite good, if imbalanced. I enjoyed the atmosphere a lot, probably because of the advmap theme  It was the first to-scale Heroes game (better than HV, easily).
When I came here I was secretly a bit horrified that seemingly everyone else was - and is - opposed to its very existence. But I still load it up once in a while, usually just to replay Half-Dead
I'd probably unmake the expansions though, or at least give them a storyline and change those ridiculous names.
