@Lexxan
I really don't get your logic...
For example: Ice
Quote: use WITH: Haven, Inferno (!!), Sylvan (Rain of Rings Cold Death),
You say use "with" as in obligatory? Or as in makeing the most sense for faction "X"? And why on earth is inferno there? I understand picking cold death if your enemy is a warmachineist or a summoner but if that's not the case why go cold death...? Mark of the damned + excruciating strike will do more dmg and thus absorb more bloodrage than any circle you can cast (for other not high tier enemies circle won't absorb neaaaarly enough bloodrage since the dmg is pathetic).
Quote: Use AGAINST: Fortress, Sylvan, Dungeon, Stronghold (good rage counter; Don't got destro with Fortress against them tho)
Why don't I see necro? Necro is the summoning faction in this game lol. If they have phoenix you'll do the happy dance if you have cold death so why on earth are they not on your list?
Dude if you give advice to people you better get your facts straight.

Yes.

Well, Ice spells do quite some damage, even with a spellpower of 3,4 or 5. Freezing Effects are VERY usefull for Inferno, and as CoW will do more damage than Fireball, I think that if you got Destructive for Inferno (which is still a HORRIBLY BAD choice), Ice + Cold Death will turn out to be the most rewarding, tho Master of Fire's Armor Decreasement is close in usefullness imo.

Agreed, like I said (should've specified it earlier dammit, but had no time ) DESTRUCTIVE IS HORRIBLE FOR INFERNO, but if taken I'd prefer Ice. MotD only lasts one Turn, and only affects one target. It does more damage than CoW or FB, but it doesn't give Armour-Damaging effects or Freezing, which is the sole advantage of a Destrutive Inferno.

Oh, I forgot about Phoenix, Plain and simple. My bad.

It makes no sense to categorize x faction works best with x masteries in a real game. Seriously.

MotD only lasts one Turn,
Is this true? I could almost say for sure it lasts for the rest of the battle, but maybe I've got an older version, 3.2 I think.

Its about Armageddon, dont really understand full of it but say that you have this
You are Fotress and have this skills
Fire resistance (50% against fire spells)
Sap Magic (20% against enemy spell) It say enemy spell but it is you that use armageddon, does this work if you cast armageddon?
Protection (15% Magic attack) Does this count as spells to or what does this do? Becouse as I have read its only mage that have magic attack.
Magic resistance (15% Magic resistance)
Dwarven luck (twice chance to resist spell)
What will work for more protection for Armageddon and if all work, what would you take for skills, all or some of them?

With half of fortress upgrades having a fire immunity you don't really care for magic protection. Protection and sap magic stack but in multiplicative way, it's less than 15+20=35% protection. And mage's attack is physical, it has nothing to do with that.
Protection or magic proof reduce magical damage, resistance is a chance to avoid it altogether.

Yes, you have Rune Patriarchs/Keepers, FlameLords, Magma/Lava Dragons with complete immunity + Shielguards and Black Bears immune to the Armor damaging effect so only vulnerable units are Berserkers and Skirmishers.
You can also add Rune of Magic Immunity, Boots of Resistance or the Luck perk + Dwarven Luck.
With a set like this you can be pretty confident that you'll lose less than 25% of what your opponent will (+Armor damage and possibly Ignite )

If you get the Fire Resistance perk from Light Magic your creatures will be immune to both Master of Fire and Ignite
But unfortunately getting both Light and Destructive is not such a common and good idea. However, if you want some Armageddon tactics for other races than Fortress (which have lots of units immune to fire), you could definitely aim for Fire Resistance. Anybody think of an Armageddonist Wizard?

I think an armageddon wizard is scarier than an armageddon fortress, because you can always get resistance mini-arties to beef up your troops, and several of your troops are resistant/immune as it is. Plus they have more mana if the fight goes on so long.
Oh armageddon, you bastardly little spell. Why do you exist? It's the evils of tradition; it's been around forever so nobody wants to get rid of it even though it's such a lame spell.

Armageddon is a nice spell, and nothing is nicer than Dungeon hero casting Armageddon and killing all his troops but taking his opponent along. Usually this is very possible, by shooting it 2 or 3 times in a row... but my dream is to do it with Dungeon against Fortress, and have only 1 stack with few creatures left, but hero come on ATB and casts the surprise, after the whole battle I struggle with all sorts of spells and creatures attacks to weaken his stacks just enough so that final Armageddon murders them
PS: Updated main post, with some new info.
