Well... Demon Lords are already pretty good dark users if you forget about Puppet and Blindness which are the only two spells that need SP. You'll have enough SP to let the mass spells last for arround >3 rounds which is more than you need.
I thought a Heretic would be all about having a caster Demon Lord (you know warlocks luck and kickass desctruction spells) so I'd pimp the 25% for SP and nerf the 50% Knowledge... Demon Lords have an outrageous Manapool as it is +imps (what's the current chance for +Knowledge? I doubt it's 50% but it's already moooore than enough). And I disagree "Master of X" perks won't make them any more dangerous. Master of fire isn't something you take for the dmg you take it for the -50% armour, master of lighting isn't really that great and master of ice doesn't increase your dmg output (it's handy though in a similar way master of fire is because of the freezing).
So boost their SP if you want to have a notable difference between a Demon Lord and a Heretic.

Death March: The Speed and Initiative of all Units in the Hero's Army is increased by 1 for every Twelve levels of the Hero, starting at the First level. Living Creatures in the Hero' army suffer no morale penalty for being grouped with Undead (all other penalties remain though)
Grim Reaper: All Wights, wraiths and Banshees in the Hero's Army get a +1 bonus to attack and Defence for every two levels of the Hero, starting at the First Level. The Effect of the Banshee's Howl is increased by 1% per Hero level (starting on the First level), while the Wraith's Harm Touch Kills one additional creature for every 8 Levels of the Hero, starting at the Fourth Level.

Base bonus should be nerfed to 10%, and 2% per 3 levels.
Quote: Defender of the Cross: Angels, Archangels and Seraphim get + 1 to Attack and Defence for every two Levels of the Hero, starting at the First level. In addition, the Seraph's Spellpower is increased by 1 for every 3 Hero Levels, starting at the First. Finally, the Archangel's ressurrection ressurrects 5 Hit Points more per Hero Level, starting at the Third Level.

This post seems dead, but I still wonder, what happened to it?
Is it finished or abandoned?
I would like to add new secondary classes to the factions too, but as I could read, it's not that easy.
Unfortunatly, I haven't found one good wiki/Tutorial about what is (not) possible and which files to mod for.

The following xdb files are important for the class system:
heroclass.xdb defines skill probabilities
skills.xdb constructs the secondary skill trees
these files can be found in the gamemechanics\reftables folder
'hero files' in the mapobjects folder connect the heroes to the classes.
For preventing offtopic discussion you should post further questions in the thread of the mod.

Yeah these I have found already.
But I wonder if or how I am able to add a second class for every faction and create new heroes for them AND make them available for scenario selection.
And I WOULD create a new topic if the board would LET me!
