To Own My Day
I want to wake up (when I'm ready), stretch, look out the window, and decide what I want to do today, and then have the freedom and resources to do it.
If I want to go see a movie, I will.
If I want to go see a movie in France, I will.
If I want to see the pyramids of Egypt, I will.
If I want to sit on the beach and drink foo-foo drinks with little umbrellas in them, I will.
I don't have that freedom yet. I do not own my day.
That is my goal.
I highly recommend a similar goal for everyone else.

First of all I wouldn't want to leave The Netehrlands ever actually.
And if I HAD to leave I would go to belgium, because:
* it is close to The Netherlands;
* the people are nice;
* the language is almost the same.

Couldn't think of anything harder, huh? Tough Q, really... I guess I wouldn't choose PH, cuz the newspaper is enough of a responsiility. I wouldn't choose any of the current mods of Val since they can't become mods. I don't really know who I would choose, really. Maybe Cat, so the entire couple would be modding? Same reason I could choose Milena. So I guess the answer is Cat/Milena. Satisfied? Ok, now for a Q...
Conn (is he in the game? I'm not sure, but I think I saw him answering Qs, so I guess he is)

To join the navy or not.
I wasnt making much money, having troubles holding up on the rent. I said I'll join the military get training cash, and see what happen's from there.
The reason it was difficult, is cuz I was laying off the mind mood altering substances going to AA, or NA meetings.
My sponser said I'd lose my sobriety.
2 week's, my head was flipping out.
When it came time to make the decision (pay rent) I said I cant live like this. So I went in December 2000.
dont do it people.. dont join the navy it suck's

Stress and Fear
The highest moment of Stress and Fear was in Operation Desert Storm.
We were engaged in a night battle with the Republican Guard, and that night I learned the true meaning of the word fear:
Fear is caused by that which has so gotten your attention, so consumed your every sense, that you don't even realize you're scared.
True fear is unknown at the time you experience it; it's only realized after the danger has passed.

When we left the desert floor, and had gotten back to the condos that were serving as an armed forces staging point in Saudi Arabia, we unloaded our stuff, and had a little "free" time to walk around the grounds, which had now been infiltrated by locals with tents selling just about anything. It looked like a bazaar.
There was a stage set up with a live rock band comprised of members of the military who were temporarily stationed there for the war effort, and it was generally a good, carnival-like atmosphere.
I was walking around, just enoying the sights and sounds, and all of the sudden, out in the middle of the courtyard, with the music playing, and the lights shining (it was nighttime), I felt as though a 500-lb weight {that's about 227.27 kilos, or 35.71 stone} had been lifted off my shoulders. I mean, I actually felt this "invisible weight" rising off my body. It was a feeling I'll never forget.

I guess I'd choose the second one. I would just go and live in a different country and forget about her.
I didn't choose to get married with someone that would never ever possibly love me because I most probably wouldn't ever be able to change it. And I wouldn't be able to forget about her, cuz how can anyone possobly forget the person he/she loves?

Marriage & relationships don't always start off with love, but with some understanding and patience love is always possible.
I believe that marrying someone you love that doesn't love you gives you the bigger incentive to cultivate that relationship so that it may bloom to it fullest.
