I tried it the first time when I was 10 or 11... It made me and my budies all dizzy... It was kinda good at the tme, actually, but over time, I guess it loses much of it's drugging effect.

Yes. I even have a picture if I could get it scanned and put on the internet. It's one of my favorite pics.
Hazing was against regulations but it happened anyway. The only reason we let other soldiers do it to us was because it was considered initiation. If we said no then we'd lose a lot of respect as men. I personally didn't care if it happened to me but I never did it to anyone else.
I was made to drink mud + beer while doing push-ups; sprayed with water hose while naked in January standing in the mud; and lastly I was forcibly stripped naked and tied to a chair with Duct tape. In addition to the taping all around my body, a string was tied to my head and private parts and then taped to my head. The chair was leaned back against a pole. If I tried to lean forward....the string would pull...*ahem*. You get the idea.
The first two scenarios were mere tradition. the last was my own fault. I openly declared that I could 'take out' the team leader without a single drop of sweat. I was walking around with too much arrogance and a bad attitude. Most of the team lured me into a room where the door was shut behind me and I was wrestled down before the taping. They then took some rather abu-graihb pictures with me. They aren't pornographic...you'd know what I mean if you saw them.
Anyway I wasn't dishonored at all. These were the men I was trained to fight side by side. It was all in jest. They had lots of laughs by doing those things to me and others. I have seen the videos of how it can go too far though. There is one in particular of a marine corps academy. They put some very toxic chemicals on two young men's private parts which led one of them to die and the other to be scarred for life I think. I don't know how it could stop. It's really up to the immediate commanders. Women....that's a frightening thought to think it could happen to them if they were implemented equally.
But seriously speaking, I don't take it as humiliation. Those same men have put their lives on the line to save me on many occasions. It's not humiliating when they apologize afterwards and then you all drink beer together and tell stories of life at home. The greatest fear of a soldier boils down to two things:
1. Dishonoring yourself and your country
2. Getting caught and tortured by the enemy
Torture in the hands of your enemy is relentless. It's really more than words can describe. My uncle was a P.O.W. of the Korean War. You don't want to know the details. And the worst part is, those bastards are still ruling the country.

I like to hear your stories as I have no basis for comparison. I have never been in the military and neither has any of my family. The closest thing that I have to soldiers in my family are a few Police Officers and a few members of the "Knights of Columbus".

You're Canadian right? I thought you should know that many American soldiers consider Canada home as well. If anyone ever attacked Canada, our soldiers would be right there helping to defend your country; no questions asked; to the very end.
For a very long time, I didn't know why that was until I learned how important Canada is to the U.S. I think it's a good thing too. Canadians have most of the best comedians in the world.

hay consis my grandad was in the armey he allways has intresting storeys to tell.how bout you do you have any intrasting storeys about your time in the armey ?

thanks i think i like you and your opineon.it is most apresated.
its just that i get a bit parinoied about it and sumeone on this site had a bit of a go at me about it. so i got a little wored abut the rest of the people on this site beeing the same about it. but beeing on this site is inproving my spellings. i have now learnt haw to spell dyslexic witch realy helps,and i think it is kinda funny!
man and i thorte that my spellings was bad. i nearly dident get whot you ware on about itis an intresting why to use phonetical spellings thet aret quite phonetic.

well yes people do seam to like distroying me at every posible chance they get!
there are two people how do this more othen than not but i whon't tell names (my name is anouth)lets call them miss R and mr G.
miss R is by fare the crulest of my tormenturs she makes me feel this big {.}you know like you are nothing at all. she maniges to make me feel as if noone would miss me at all least of all by her! she constantly is calling me thnigs like supid fat female dog, discuting dume prostitute and other nice things like that! and she will go for me at a drop of a hat! i have spent a fourtune on geting my glasses fixed because of her actions!

i have tryed to strangle mr G once and i regret that it gives him more amo against me!
i have developed whays of coping here they are:

5/ and this is a last risort. i scrach my armes till they bleed! unforcently this is beginng to happen more othen!
No i would never try to kill my self! not ever! i belive that the people how are making my life the why it is disarve to keep living the why they are for they must be very unhappy to whont to do thi to another humanbeing and i pitty them for that! at times i them but ulitomey i must love them for they must have it warse than me!

I don't know if anyone else feels the same about the way that this Thread is going, but I find that questions that are left open to anyone aren't usually answered.
I think that we should make an effort to ask a person in particular our questions, so that we can actually get answers...instead of simply letting this Thread die!

No need trying to decipher posts.
i do do that and use the spell check but i can only get on the computer for just under 2 hrs a day and i dont allways know what i am going to say or i would type more of my posts at home. and the spell check dosent realy help me that much as i can spell a word so incorectly that the pc dosen't reconise the word at all or i spell the word so rong that it is another word intirely and it normaly cumes up with a lot of surgestions to the word that i have spellt so i cant figger out witch to use with out asking for some one to come and tell whitch one to use, sorry i will try harder so that i dont corse trubble for you ok?
and leo lion the question of what is the most horrid thing you have done and why?

Oh man, where do I begin...
I did so many nasty things when I was younger that I'm sort of embarrassed to say that I have lots of examples to choose from. I guess that somewhat explains why I started the +++Confessions++++ Thread...My conscience was overburdened and needed an outlet.
I'm pretty sure that this story that I am about to tell you, though, is one of the most horrible things that I ever did. Just so you know and so that you don't judge me too harshly, I still feel really bad about what I did, and would immediately apologize to the people involved, if ever I were to see them again.
Anyways, here goes:
I lived in Montreal for a year, when I was in my early teens, and I had a variety of friends from different nationalities and cultures. This was not a big issue for me because I don't prejudge people now and I didn't do it back then either. The thing is, some of my friends were so different, that I behaved differently depending on who I was hanging out with.
A few of my buddies were pretty "hardcore" and in order to be accepted by them, I had to act pretty tough. I didn't mind doing this because I could push & shove with the best of them. But, another of my friends (let's call him Ahmed), who was a rather "timid soul", didn't enjoy play-fighting or horsing-around. That was fine too, because we both enjoyed playing videogames and football (soccer).
After a particularly long day at school, where I was sent to detention for being a goof in class, I met Ahmed in the schoolyard...where he & his little brother had been waiting for me. Well, I was in such a bad mood, because of the way things had gone with the teacher, that I wasn't interested in speaking to anyone.
Unfortunately, Ahmed & his bro responded to my aloofness with questions, comments, and then more questions. I tried to brush them off numerous times and walk away, but they kept following me and pushing for some kind of response to their questions & comments.
When I look back now, I can understand that they were simply trying to help me deal with my frustrations and to put a bad day behind me. But, in that moment, I had enough!  Like I would have done with my other "hardcore" buddies, I pushed his little brother...who fell to the ground, and proceeded to "noogy" Ahmed on the top of the head. I started yelling at him: "How do you like it when someone keeps annoying the hell out of you, huh?!"
Ahmed's little bro (let's call him Randy ) then came up and started hitting me and telling me to let his brother go. I responded by shoving the boy's face into the nearest bush and then started punching Ahmed in the head and yelling at him about his brother. After delivering a few shots, I let Ahmed go and walked away cursing.
I could spend hours explaining to you all why I did what I did, but the truth...the whole truth...and nothing but the truth, is that I could never justify what I did. All that I can do, is live with those memories, learn from the feelings they evoke, and hope that I was forgiven by my old friend "Ahmed" and his little brother "Randy".

What's the deal, Svarog? In the multitude of RL pics that I have seen of you, there are often young ladies sharing the spotlight. How many of the girls in your RL pics have you "banged"? How much do you "sleep-around"?

From the girls on the pics - none. I also dont have much of a sexual experience altogether.
