HC Carnage - Temple of the Gods
This thread is a God Squad Centre. Here they can to apply bonuses to players, make a voting councils and discuss game problems. Mortals are allowed and even recommended to watch this thread, but only players who reached Archon status can post here. They can suggest bounses and take parts in discussions.
INFORMATION FOR MODS:
1)How to lead the battles.
At first count all actions, which has been done in preparing stage. Then lead batlle by actions. First turn has chalenged person, so battle would look like this:
2nd player's 1st action 1st player's 1st action2nd player's 2nd action1st player's 2nd action and etc. when all actions are used, cycle repeats.
There are some random elements in battles.
1)Missing because of agility.
Missing chance = attacker's agility / target's agility. Then % result calculates here.
For example: 1st player has 2 agility and 2nd player has 3 agility. Hitting chance would be 66% in that case. Than in that site calculate result from 1 to 100. Then 1-66 - hit, 67-100 - missed.
2)Cursed sword and cursed armor.
This ammo can make a random level 1-2 curse spell. In that site calculates result from 1 to 100 and result will mach:
1-30 - weakness
31-60 - vulnerability
61-85 - slow
86-100 - curse
3)%-chance
Some things have a %-chance. It's calculated like missing chance.
How to apply bonuses.
1)You don't need to care about red stars. They will be added "automatically" after player reach certain quantity of victory points.
2)Bless Points. Bless points can be applied for post / threads / events which proves their honesty, help mods or somehing such. For example Miru deserves a BP for reserving Thanatos' avatar. There are many diffirent sitations which can deserve BP, so if you are doubting, contact admin. Same things for Curse Points, but they can be applied for bad things.
3)Alignment points. There are two types of alignment points: Evil and Good Points. Evil points can be applied for posts / threads / events full of evilness and such. For example, this deserves a EP. Good points can be applied for posts / threads / events, full of good and such. For example this thread deserve GP.
Note: if you want to apply bonus for somebody, you have to post here what bonus, for whom and because of what do you apply.
To Mortals: If you don't want us to give you a bonus (I guess nobody will refuse BPs, so Alignment points meant), contact admin or post here if you reached Archon and it would be fixed.

For now I want to apply Bless Point to Ednaguy for helping to make rules better, when he will join.

1.9 is not 2 yet, but already is 1. And same system is in many games. But maybe your offer is valueable.
EDIT: for some reasons I think that this suggestion is good. So before 1st battle start I change the rules.
So now 0<x<=0.5 = 0 and 0.5<x<1 = 1 and such.

So 0.5 becomes 0? Alright, although most common is for 0.5 to become 1.

No, 0.5 become 1, because 1 is minimal, but for magic 0 can be. I meant that 1.5 would become 1 and 1.6 would become 2.

I wrote it in the coliseum, but it drowned pretty fast, so:
I will not respond to moves like "and 'attack' for the rest of the battle". Right now the rules say that each player should send 5/6 moves. "For the rest of the battle" means the player actually sends an infinite number of moves.
So, we either change the rules and allow the players send any number of moves they want (or something like that) or we ignore anything except the first 5/6 moves.

Yeah, you're right. I personally don't like such things too. So no more "the rest of actions ..." only 5/6 action, you recieved.

Another question: if a fighter runs out of mana do we convert his spells into physical attacks?

In that team battle all the challenged players went before all the challengers. IMO this is kinda imba because they nearly killed one of the players one round one before the other team could do anything. Maybe it would be better to play it in rotation like so:
Challenged team:
Spartacus
Brutus
Challenger team:
Cornelius
Demetrius
Clavius
Julius
Order:
Brutus
Demetrius

Well, your order is random, how can we calculate it? Maybe make a new stat like initative?

My order is random only in the team itself, not between teams. It's like in the last battle - why did you put Father before Edna? Random, right? Same here.
Edit: and yes, I was thinking of giving agility the side-effect of determining the order of battle. It could work.

It is not necessary, who from one team will attack earlier. I could get same result if Edna's turn would be earlier than Father's. But initative idea seems good for me.

Not true. Say they both target the same enemy who's down to his last hp. one of them hits and kills him. The other one randomly targets a player with an agility higher than his own but lower than that of his teammate and misses. Had the order been different both attack would hit and not only the first one. I can give more examples if you want.
I know that agility will probably be overpowered, that's why I didn't suggest it at first. On the other hand initiative may be underpowered if only used to determine the order. No one will spend too much points on initiative when they can spend it on (for example) agility.

Can't a team just... come in an agreement and pick which players will go first? For example, just start with the first one, then the first one from the other team acts, then the second from the first team, etc.
And the order of the players in a team will be decided by the team before the fight (maybe strategically, who knows)

Upcoming rules update
Tomorrow (now I haven't time) there would be a rules update. Changings:
1)New stat: initative. Player with higher initative will have first turn.
2)All players will get 5 free SP and chance to change stats without being penalised.
3)Some spells would be changed.
It's all for now. Tomorrow I'll come with more info.
BTW, I think Ednaguy deserve a BP for his efforts in advertising.
