Best free email service?
What do you think is the best free email service? I used to use Hotmail but I got frustrated with it. Now I use yahoo and it is decent but some little things frustrate me.
I know some of my friends use gmail. Is there anything else to use?
I like having a search function to search through my massive inbox. I also send and receive a lot files so a large allotment in that regard would be nice. The 10 mb limit on yahoo isn't too bad but more is better. Then I could do higher quality compression.
Thoughts?

I like Gmail because it has absolutely no ads. While Microsoft lowered their ads recently Yahoo is still full of them, and I hate that.
However, Gmail is a little different than the others when it comes to organizing messages. You can't create the usual folders but you have labels.
Maybe you should give it a try, I don't know whether it is your style or not, but there's only one way to find out

I didn't consider that. I do have some folders but it is not a requirement.
So that takes care of the usual suspects. Are there any others?

I like Gmail, it feels clean and organized. But then again, I've never tried any other mail services...

Why bother? I never use such programs, I consider them a waste of your computer's resources. What's so hard to open your browser for that?
