The Episodic Roleplay (ERP)
Why Make This Thread?
I have brought up this idea in the past, but I decided that I wanted to do something like this again.
What is an Episodic Roleplay?
Think of your traditional roleplay as a novel, or rather series of novels. The episodic roleplay is a series of loosely connected short stories by containing the same world and sometimes the same characters.
Why do an Episodic Roleplay over a regular RP?
The main issue with regular RPs is that they can easily be derailed by absent members. After each story, there will likely be a completely new set of characters with maybe a couple old ones.
Why do I want an Episodic Roleplay?
Because I'm not interested in joining a longterm roleplay. This requires less committment. And can easily be revived whenever we wish.

I'd like some more information on the practical side of things.
Like how exactly do these episodes go? Do we create a setting and just tell short stories in that setting possibly with characters and locations from the short stories of other people?

Fareport is the one of the only two ERPs in Glade. Basically the setting remains the same. You'd have a bunch of 2 page mini-RPs with the same setting and likely some recurring characters.
I'm actually putting in efforts now to revive Fareport. I attempted to create a second ERP, A World Divided, which was based on the discussions of World Creation.
