God of war

Finished God of War 1 and 2 in normal difficulty.

I have almost finished my 2nd turn in GoW 2 to unlock all the weapons and magic and my favorite are the athena blades, the wrath of cronos and the spear of fate as they allow me to strike fast without being too exposed.

I'm also stuck at the 4th challenge, the translator gets pwned by the last wave of enemies. I tried the athena blades, the spear, the wrath of cronos and euryale's gaze, but no luck...

on god of war, I mainly use the chaos blades and the wrath of poseidon. I began the very hard mode lately, and I'm at the fight againt medusa.

I quickly tried the challenge (the 4 first ones) and it didn't seem too hard, except the 1st, took me a while to figure how to do, especially with that stupid rule which says you lose if you kill one of them...

oh and also, the urns in GoW 2 are too well hidden, only found 2 of them, despite searching everywhere.

I finished God of war I, wait a sec, I'll reread your message to see if I can help ya with something or discuss about something

And I forced many terminal blowjobs to many minotaurs, just so you know.

EDIT: read it again, so what can I help you with?

hum not sure. what weapons and magic did you use? I focused on quick attacks, but maybe the athena's blades aren't always the best weapon.
actually that caused me trouble in the last fight. I was like "how am I supposed to fight with a sword?" lol

just finished the challenge of the gods. the last one was snowing hard.

I didn't play any GoW for the PS2. But I did play GoW: Chains of Olympus for the PSP and yes, it was awesome. I didn't like the mini-games that involved button mashing though.

like opening doors? I don't really see the problem, unless you have some very long buttons mashing sessions in chain of olympus?

I finished 2 of GoWs, and those are very good games. In 2 the best magics IMO are medusa, as you can kill fast even trolls, and Chronos rage, it is very cheap and stops the foes for the moment. About the weapons, if youre good player, the best weap for you are blades. If you have medusa maxed, you should have the hammer too, although i havent got it.

yeah, I felt the medusa gaze is very powerful. almost didn't use it in the story mode (chronos rage was easier to use and did a good job) but in challenges it can help a lot, provided you have enough mana, especially against cyclopes.

by blade? you mean athena's blades or olympus blade? I didn't really like the olympus blade, but once at the max, it looks quite awesome.

it bothers me that I can't dodge with the hammer, but it's the best weapon to crush petrified enemies.

in god of war, I'm quite disappointed by zeus' lightnings. that's useful against skeletons archers, but overall, I feel it's very weak. I like typhon's bow better, the titan storm deals heavy damage and can hit several foes.

I have yet to really try the army of the dead, that seems very powerful, but costs a lots.

I haven't used atlas' earthquake much, but it looks similar to poseidon's wrath which is my favorite magic in god of war (because that looks quite similar to chronos' rage)

about the weapons, I think the best of all are the chaos/athena's blades from god of war (the moves are better than in god of war 2. in god of war 2, I mainly use square or L1 + square, while in god of war, I uses most of the attacks) but I especially like that move with the spear of fate that causes your enemies to explode after a short while.

btw, did anybody felt that the enemies are much easier to defeat in god of war that in god of war 2? in god of war, you can usually play with them as if they were puppets, but in god of war 2, they defend themselves better.

Saying blades i meant athena blades. Nobody takes profits from vortex in the bow, but its really powerfull on difficult small opponents. You can make him fly and than after clicking O from the ground you can do some damage without getting hit. About the earthquake, its very good on last level, as you tap O like in first magic in the beggining. But i mastered the reflecting thing with L1 and its very good, especially on the sisters. Thats the best magic(ability) IMO.

for some reasons I have the reflexe to use the reflection againt gorgons gaze, but against other shooting creatures, I have the reflexe to dodge (too bad zeus' lightnings were almost impossible to dodge)

But violent button mashing won't ultimately damage your buttons?

I have my PS2 since 8 or 9 years. never changed it. but I broke many pads.

about zeus, I meant I didn't think about reflecting his shots. I tried to dodge them and got owned at each time. fortunately, I realised that I could prevent him from acting by spamming chronos rage

the 6th challenge of gow2 seems quite insane, I was wondering if the enemies would keep coming forever. they killed me before I could know
on the other hand, the 5th challenge was super easy.

this, gow, is "rad" so they say.. It will get you laid, so they say, and I have found this to be true indeed!

GOW is like, my favorite game, atleast for the fighting classification.

who knows a good way to kill wraiths in gow2? (several of them at the same time + other enemies)

those things who have blades instead of arms and who throw green stuffs at you. the best way I can find is to spam magic, but I would like to keep a decent amount of mana.

Oh, so youre near the sis head. Theres no good way to kill them. You need to roll and attack untill youll be good at it. This is very good way to practice rolling. And why do you want to have big ammount of mana? Theres a lot of chests out there.

no, it's a challenge of the titans. a survival challenge, with a hell of a lots of enemies to defeat.
I think I'm not bad at dodging, but when you are in a middle sized arena against like 5 wraiths + 2-3 summoners + 1-2 cerberus summoned by the summoners, it's not easy to dodge everything.
