Unaware + max Defence and HP EVs + Cosmic Power*4 + Leftovers = nearly indestructable. I'm glad she impressed you. I build Clefable specifically to make her a toxic staller. Yes, her fourth move was Moonlight but you killed her before she could heal  Too bad your team had like... several pokes that needed to be paralyzed (UGH that cloyster outrunning espeon BEFORE i could psych up. Imagine what would have happened if it copied shell Smash) or were immune to toxic (Magneton, Venusaur)
I think my MAIN issue is that I tend to sacrifice firepower in favour of pokémon that I like. Maybe without Clawitzer or Empoleon and WITH two of Florges/Aegislash/Goodra/Ninetales things might have ended differently.

I suppose Clefable would have been better for double or single as it must have been a disadvantage to use it in triple without being more of a threat. Follow Me would have worked really well in our situation though I bet there are several better options for balanced tanks.
And yeah, I think you need more power even though your tactics appear a bit frightening and nasty. To be honest, I feel like you have a little more skill than I but that I use better/reliable pokemon.
EDIT: I have had 4 pokemons in progress the last few days. But only Greninja of those were battle ready.
Also, when Espeon tried to copy Cloyster's stats I was like "****!" but was quickly relieved by thinking that it must have failed.

Yes, I have had successes with Clefable in Singles and Doubles. Yesterday, I used it in a single battle against an all-Normal + Espeon team. I lost the battle, but Clefable was the my last pokémon standing as it slowly toxiced the opposing team to death. It killed an Ursaring and a Porygon-Z just by stalling them, and both of those pokémon are scary powerhouses. (Similarly, my Empoleon was a star that killed a Snorlax by itself through Scald and then, Brine). I only lost because my opponent switched in Espeon and it bounced back Toxic to Clefable..
in retrospect, i should have just given clefable Stored Power instead of moonblast. I was just paranoid about facing Dark types since Stored Power doesn't work on them, but.... technically this would mean that the only pokémon that would completely wall me would have been Skuntank, Drapion and all steel types except Lucario. nothing Ninetales can't cover.
OH WELL. Clefable still is really good on her own accord and I'm probably going to breed with her. She has her hidden ability, so Friend Guard Clefairy + Eviolite with Moonlight/Stored Power/Toxic OR Minimize/Cosmic Power as its moveset is maybe the more favourable options for Triple Battles anyway.
The Clefairy evolutionary line is just... one of the best, most versatile lines of any pokémon ever? Base Stats are a bit mediocre except for Special Attack and HP, but with Magic Guard and Unaware, a very deep special AND status move pool, and access to Belly Drum, Wish, Aromatherapy, and Heal Pulse through breeding, the options that you have are almost infinite. Not bad for a pink gummy bear with wings.

I've decided that after playing A Link Between Worlds, I have now got back to breeding again. I had a few Level 100 Pokemon that I still need to breed. I'm also planning to train every starter Pokemon available. So far I have the 3 original starters, the 3 new starters, the Torchic I downloaded not long after I bought the game, a Cyndaquil, and as of last night, a Piplup, so therefore I am already halfway towards that goal.

i have ALL the starters ::smug:: but i'm aiming to get both genders from all starters, so i can fill up the box i've put them in (which I've aptly dubbed "Noah's Arc")
I'm always looking for pokémon with their Hidden Ability. These are the ones that I already have:

- Gogoat
- Vulpix
- Swirlix
- Torchic
- Bulbasaur
- Chespin
- Absol
- Lampent
- Froakie
- Starly
- Fennekin
- Mincchino
- Sableye
- Camerupt
- Riolu

- Cubchoo
- Weepinbell
- Smoochum/Jynx
and I'll gladly breed a few more for something good. Currently, my boxes are overflowing with Frillish (all of them are Calm, have at least 3 perfect IVs and have Recoveras an egg move)
If ANYONE has Moody Snorunt OR a female squirtle, i'd want them.

Well, keep waiting then... Because my Arkath is on the re-breeding row and may not be used for a while...

I was doing some trading last night, tried the Shellder/Karrablast trade, and I traded Karrablast, I ended up getting my Shellder back (it evolved into Accelgor by that stage).

You mean each pokemon only has a single type? It will not save you as I have given every single of my gladiators a creative name which increases their stats by 10%. Name a time, battle style and rules and we shall have a DEATHMATCH! The loser will have to release his pokemon! (jk)
