Now in honesty, I never questioned passerby with "Did I look weird just now?" but I haven't noticed weird looks. I think most people just assume I'm on an iPhone or equivalent, if they even care at all. And as War pointed out, most of the people who go to those places are gamers themselves or relatives of same, so even if they notice they're not likely to judge.
And if some snot-nosed ten-year-old comes up and gives you a hard time regardless, drag them over to their parents and inform said parents they need to raise their child to have some manners.  You're an adult, you can do that now.
But if you're still nervous, pretend you're tying your shoes while you download, and hide the DS out of easy line-of-sight.

Ok, guys. So I've been trying to plan my team for upcoming Omega Ruby, since I've little doubt I'm gonna buy it.
However I'm running into some problems planning it, as I'm having a little difficulty coming up with a balanced team. As with my previous attempts, I'm trying to use Dual-types with no typeoverlap as possible. Also, I'm looking for mons that don't much need TMs(even though they're not single us anymore, likely) to learn decent moves(more than 60 base power) of their own type(Prefeably of the kind favored(i.e. physcal or special) by the mon) before 40-50. As is usual with most remakes, I'm gonna assume the pre-elite 4 dex differs very little from how it was in the original. So like this.
I'm gonna use their final form,(or the form they'll likely be stuck in before the elite for) for clarity and include the likelyhood of me using them.
Almost Sure:
Swampert (Water-Ground) Cuz I lieks mudkipz.
Magneton/Magnezone (Electric-Steel)Cause they worked all too well for me in the past to pass them up.
Very Likely:
Magcargo (Fire-Rock) Cause I always wanted to use one of thems and the combo seems so usefull.
Possibly:
Crobat (Poison-Flying) I had quite the decent Crobat in gen4
Glalie (Ice) They looks cool and it's the only gen3 Ice that isn't also water.
So assuming I'm using Swampert, Magneton and Magcargo, what would you guys recomend me?

Interesting suggestion.
But assuming that I get a Swampert, Magneton and Magcargo, neither Energyball, nor Power Gem covers something I don't already have covered. The likelyhood of me getting a flying mon(even if it's not Crobat) is very high, so that leaves the Psyshock redundant as well. And with that Psychic-mon rather redundant of they don't have a second type.

Hey, does anyone of you guys ever use the pokebank?
Cause I'm thinking about storing one or two mons there from Y to use in O-Ruby. But I'm gonna have to think about that twice if they count as traded.
Also can I breed 2 Magneton or do I need a Ditto for that? Which sounds odd when I write it.

Does anyone have any experience with Absol and/or Mightyena? Cause I'm thinking about getting one of them to finish my projected team.

I always wanted to use Absol but never got around to doing so. It is glam and good tho <3 Absol's movepool is fantastic. Its mega form also gets Magic Bounce which is rly fun.
Mightyena is a pokémon i tried to use but REALLY sucks because it's stats are atrocious so it cannot use Moxie or Quick Feet effectively. It isn't worth the trouble. Use Manetric or Belly Drum Linoone if you want a canine pokémon.

New CoroCoro leaks regarding Alpha Saphire and Omega Ruby have been revealed Here. Swampert and Sceptile both recieve Mega-Evolutions, as do Groundon and Kyogre (though these seem to be regressions to their primeeval stages) and many of the main chars have gotten a redesign.
If anything, these leaks make me more certain about picking Mudkips. Hulk-Swampert looks awesome.

The new Pokémon games looks decent in my eyes. But I am still in love (and I always will be) with my Pokemon Stadium 2, Pokemon Colosseum + the GBA versions from RBY-RS.

With so many new Mega Evolutions revealed lately, I'll say one thing: I don't like where this is going. Each new revealed ME is more idiotic then the other. I don't know what the devs think when creating them, but so far not one new ME is to my liking. It looks like the devs took an approach to make every evolution drastically change the appearance of a Pokemon. For the worse. Salamance looks like a jet, Slowbro like an ice cone, Swampert like it was on steroids. I was thinking about buying Ruby or Sapphire, but when I look at the direction they are taking, making each ME so over-exaggerated, it really makes me wonder if I should be interested in those games. Plus I'm really not into things like cosplaying my Pokes, or building some idiotic bases. I think that the Pokemon formula has reached such a level, that it will not progress any further...
What do you guys think?

Megas are terrible and overdone. Instead of handing them out like Candy, they should work on giving the weaker single evos a new evolution.

I haven't been keen on the Mega Evolution thing from the start, so no, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire aren't changing my mind. I hope they'll drop the ME thing all together with future Generations, though with the amount of effort they're wasting on it I doubt it'll go away cleanly.

I highly doubt they will stop with Mega Evolutions. You might not like them, there are plenty people who do. So I seem them continueing this at least into the next gen.

I like the Mega Evolutions idea, but I definitely don't like most of the new designs. Lopunny lost it's whole charm (it looks like another Hitmonlee), Audino is the same only in white color palette, Slowbro looks completely idiotic (plus I don't know why they gave him another evolution, there's Slowking already), Altaria got a stupid hat (they should've used it's draconic lineage in the design, instead of giving her more clouds) and Salamence got this Digimon-like mechanical design (why the heck turn him into a jet-plane, Pokemons are animals not robots (well, mostly)). Oh and Sableeye is plain boring, and he had potential...
Not only they make strange decisions when picking Pokemon for ME, they make cra*py designs for them...
