678 MB of movie it better be worth it
Watched the 23 min battle report, and i'm not impressed
It looks like the game form 2005/2006 or so. What i can tell form graphical side.

Blizzard is too intelligent to make the graphics highly demanding. They want to appeal to a massive audience, including 15 year old kids who use an older below-par computer that their parents gave them. RTS style games like SC don't need as much emphasis on graphics anyway as opposed to an RPG or something. Smooth gameplay is the priority. It looks like it's going to be fun. They added in some more tactical features to their maps while keeping the fast pace of the game, so it will be more demanding then ever.

I agree. The graphics are low so people like Kipshasz can afford the game.
The graphics are also Blizzard style and dont forget that the game is not even in beta.

actually the intelligent company would make better graphics but keep those older ones available for older comps.
and it seems battlecast set a precendent as far as i see.

Starcraft 2 beta starts this summer, but you can already go to Battle.Net and sign up for it (you dont need an WoW account).
Personally, I have no CD keys as I pirated all Blizzard RTS games but instead I have the option to merge my WoW account with my Battle.Net account, allowing me to sign up anyway.
To access any game in Battle.Net a monthly fee is required (in the near future).
Starcraft 2 beta testers will also be able to try out the new Battle.Net. '
Release is most likely schueled to Christmas.
BlizzCon 2009 will likely reveal actual exact release date, but dont be disappointed if it gets delayed.
edit: fixed summon/summer

I believe we'll have some hectic multiplayer battles with this one. I'm glad this game doesn't look like Crysis (high end visuals) since ultimate graphics bring nothing but trouble for low-end machines, and could be a real problem in multiplayer. IMO, the game doesn't look so bad. In RTS games, I believe the animation visuals are more vital than model detail/texture detail. Why? because I like my units to act and look somewhat realistic, even they are otherwise unrealistic (shooting plasmabeams from da arse). With well animated units, you actually get the feeling that they do exist, and are alive in the battlefield (till they get shot in the little finger and die).
Units seem pretty well balanced, according to B-reports. The beta testing is on the way and if you own some Blizzard game with online gaming (other than WoW) get into the line and claim your beta-place

I like second battle report. I must say that SC2 becomes better with each time they give us some info. I especially like new zerg models, they look awesome. And new gameplay features are awesome too. Only one thing I don't like so far is Infestor's ability to 'spit' Infested Marines. It's strange, where does it get this marines? Hope they would fix it.
BTW, Hydralisk melee attacks are nice idea!

Xerox, you better watch your tongue. Accidents can happen you know.
I live in an ex-soviet craphole full of corrupted goverment clowns, but you know what is the best part of it? There are no brats like you.
I feel sorry for your parents. Really, I do.
Now back to topic.
I watched the videos for a few times. Very impressive. Koreans will die from joy.

Meh, it looks like a great game but it also looks like more of the same.
I'll stick to DoW II, HoMM and Total War, I think.
Should be an excellent game though, and if DotA moves I may have to.

Report 3 and beta is close.
http://starcraft.incgamers.com/blog/comments/battle-report-3-out/
If I get into beta then I promise you I will report a lot
edit: WoW Protoss looks awesome. The Nufiliers really open a lot of new tactics and seem really fun to play
The Stalkers blink could also create some interesting tactics.
