I went windsurfing once and i remember the experience as being near-traumatizing.
Then again, I was a husky 15-year old with poor balance and a panic fear of drowning, who couldn't swim and that on a day with no wind whatsoever, so I guess it was *destined* to not be fun. (it didn't help that i once fell over and the sail landed over ON TOP of me, almost suffocating me. Yikes.) AND IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY TOO.  
Thank god you had a better experience than I had

It was actually easier to balance once the wind caught the sail properly, you can weigh against the wind instead of supporting it with your arm strength.
Will go at it again tomorrow, no wind at all right now. Lake is crystal clear :/
EDIT:
I guess I can almost call myself a surfer now which auto-raises my sexiness like 200%. Kaching!

Not really a picture of me but here's what I currently ride whenever I feel like taking a leisury cruise past 100 miles an hour in the twisty backroads.

I dumped money into that head of hair. I'm probably going to be the first male in 20 generations that isn't going to go bald. Science n' ****.

It's actually a little thicker now than it was several months ago, and I'll probably restore some more before its done. I waited a little too long for it to be restored to the original hairline, but that's okay. A somewhat receding hairline increases my Death score.
Theoretically I could do surgery to gain it all back, but for the moment I don't give a **** (and I'm not moneybags).
