Same nose, same cheeks, same eyes shape, and if yours are blue then same color, same hair color, and the above all same icy gaze, reminds me of my grandfather, who was named... Maurice... that is just too much awkwardness for me to handle tonight. He wasn't French though.
Since your Romanian, these are just coincidences so nothing to be afraid of.

I am latin 50% (romanians are latin), eyes blue but hair is blond (however now is darker).

How handy.
I always thought Romanians were Slavic, although Romanian is closer to Italian than it is to Russian. Isn't the Latin type to have dark hair and eyes color on a white skin?

I thought Salamandre was French. Why I wonder ... then I saw somewhere in that boiling raging thread something he said that his country wasn't good at this and that and almost at anything compared to other European countries, and then I started feeling I was missing something. But did not wanted to ask something that simple and crude amidst the tide of intellectual warring all around. ^_^'
Back in the gold CH days, Karyll started a forum on his own for some reason, and some of us went there to help pruning it. He posted some Romanian words, while I helped with some Portuguese stuff.
Some words still pop up in my mind's eye, although I read them only once. Multumesc seemed a worthy one of notice and remembrance. As it is in any other language.
