Damn I knew I had forgotten something important. And of course evil dead is as good a parody of ancient evil movies, Bruce Campbell rocks  I liked the second and third movie, first so-so.

Shaun of the dead was not good imo. It was not funny, and not a very good zombie movie either. Return of the living dead was much better (and more comical). But evil dead 2 is a riot. Don't know if Gremlins count but it is a funny movie about 'evil creatures'  .
The Naked Gun movies are too funny.
Oh and Remo Williams is a funny take on those martial arts movies.

Lol I would point out all the funny parts in Return of the Living dead, but that would take awhile and be spoilers. It was funny. Shaun had its moments (again would be spoilers) but just over all I didn't find it funny.

@Asheera yes it counts as a parody but not as movie parody

Because in my opinion it was rather weak....
Evil Dead was an good horror
Evil Dead 2 was a good horror/comedy & finnaly Third part (?parody?) i am not sure

Anybody mention Blazing Saddles? (spelling?) Oh and Return of the living dead is still a zombie flick and sometimes gross. It did have some very funny moments however.
Oh oh there is one about 'superheroes' (can't remember the name) like the Shoveler, the Bowler, etc. Mystery Men (I think?) it was funy as heck.
