I personally hate Sims. You can't finish it in any way. It doesn't have any goal than to build yourself a pretty house or family or career or something as lame, which I rather do in real life.
I actually hate all Maxis games because they're all the same; there is no goal or victory.

Sims 3 is a prime example of a sandbox game. you can do anything, and there is no real object. its a casual sandbox game.
I've got mixed views about the Sims. in one way its one of the founding games of our hobby, and on the other hand its a huge cash cow.

I can buy it anywhere lol, even in the food store >.>
Okey so here is my first impressions, it wont be long though as its school tomorrow and I should be in bed around this time
The Sims 3
The Sims is the largest game series in the entire world. Everyone from small children to middle-aged woman likes the Sims.
So far, I have enjoyed the Sims 3 very much - but I dont see any major difference from the Sims 2 at all.
The only real changes I have seen so far is coloring clothes etc, making your own style. Sadly there isnt a designer or fashion job yet. The other change is that there is much less loading time. The whole city can be reached without loading screen. You can walk down to the town or to your neighbour.
Otherwise, the Sims 3 contains pretty much the exact same graphics and minor improvements such as a bit more interaction at work etc. I was disappointed at the lack of changes it, this is almost exactly like playing the Sims 2.
The biggest let-down is that there is only ONE very small town and you cant create your own towns (yet) >.>
This is my Sims story so far. I created myself after I had moved out from my family. My biography said that I got to phantom land of Simland, where I lived my new life along with other people I know.
The dude looks exactly like me and does pretty much the same thing. We both write, watch TV and sit by the computer.
Like my dream IRl, I took the job on a magazine as a journalist. I began to just spread out their magazines, then I progressed into correcting spell errors and now im a real journalist, interviewing people even though I hate it as im really shy.
I met a girl which has the exact same name and is based on a classmate of mine. We got in love and did a couple of stuff.
Then we moved to a larger house, as we both dream of creating a large family and even adopting an asian girl.
I designed this beautiful house myself but unfortunaly there is no architect job. They love it and I think my grlfriend is pregnant now.
She has a political careers herself and now works as an assistant for the mayor of Sunville or whatever the town is called.
I have also became a friend with my boss, who I think is a married gay or the guy there might just be hes son.
Anyway, we talk a lot and my friendship with my boss has improved my pay and job a lot
The Sims 3 is a good game - but it feels like playing the Sims 2 again. There are no huge changes, mostly minor improvements. The biggest and argubly only notable change in the game is to move around in your town without loading screens.
3/5 - I was expecting more and although it is a game worth to buy, I dont suggest to do so if you are really poor atm and dont want to waste money on a game that is exactly the same as its preceeder.
