Right. He should have hired freelancing teams to single out the unworthy-of-living elements of German society and finish them and paid them the going rate instead of simply ordering certain SS units to do it.

A government leader orders someone killed, but he IS guilty of wrongdoing even though he (the government leader) didn't actually pull the trigger.
The government leader is guilty because he is the government (or, at least, the critical decision-making part of it), and the government is what pulled the trigger. We put a whole person on trial whenever it's just the finger that pulls the trigger. Same here: the SS is the finger, the government is the person (and the government leader is the one responsible for the decisions the finger makes).

What happened to you MVass, you made sense until just a while ago.

*thinks a bit*

More or less.

EDIT
Alright alright before I'm accused of Ad Hominem, I think what good man Corribus wanted to know was how exactly was SS Hitler's finger, and the assassin isn't his employer's finger.

As Bak said.  But to elaborate (again), the government isn't a person.  The German government didn't kill anyone.  SOLDIERS killed people.  People in the government gave the orders for the soldiers to kill people.  But I don't see how that's any different from a (civilian) person ordering (or paying) an assassin to kill someone.  You can't exonerate one but criminalize the other.

Since you want to be objective let me explain to you why THAT way of thinking doesn't make sense. It wasn't his finger though, it was his brain that commanded the finger. The brain was in turn commanded by chemical processes, and so on, until the Big Bang. What you're saying is a completely arbitrary 'reset' switch, but it simply doesn't work if you take it that way (the way you take it) because, objectively speaking, the world is one big chain. There's no such thing as independent chains.

So either you say that the Big Bang is guilty of everything, or you drop this (somewhat stupid) idea because it doesn't work

It is not possible for modern whites to not use these inherited benefits. You can refuse to buy blood diamonds, but you cannot refuse opportunity. The opportunity is there whether you like it or not. Even if I lived my life doing only as a black could have, they would still say I have opportunities they don't. Inheriting these opportunities is not a blessing; it is a curse.
Right so what's so bad in letting go of the curse, when another opportunity arrives, then?

Sorry but I see no point at all in your post, because ironically enough, this is mostly on topic (the Big Bang, if you even bothered to understand, was a way to explain chain reaction of mvass' "objective" idea, and why it is impractical). And I think I have a whole lot less than 50% of the posts in this thread.

Just goes to show how obsessed you people can be about it.

Yes, exactly. That's what I was saying. The finger pulls the trigger - and the whole person is put on trial (and rightly so). The SS man pulls the trigger - and the government is put on trial.

Bak:
The difference between the two situations is that the assassin and his employer are separate entities, whereas the SS man and Hitler are, from an institutional point of view, the same entity: the German government.

Corribus:
Right. Soldiers killed people in their function as a part of the German government.

I've got to agree with JJ on this one.  Also, you could just as easily come up with a situation where a man has a crime organization and has employed hitmen.  The assassins in such a case just killed people in their functions as part of the organization.

Of course, what any of this has to do with the thread topic, I have no idea.

To illustrate the lack of rationality in your chains of thought.

Also to imply that you have a serious delusion that your analogies, in fact, make sense.

No, of course not. But the guilty party is the entity who kills - not whatever chain reaction might have lead them to kill.

Corribus:
Since the crime organisation's very purpose would be to break the law, the situation would be slightly different.

Posting without reading the thread is quite different. The original thread usually has a subject, or topic which I might derail - and that would be wrong.

But when you guys are in question, there is no topic anymore. You just keep sucking it out until you reach black holes in a capitalism thread, or capitalism in a black hole thread.

Whenever it is I post something like this, it means you already derailed the discussion as far as possible and I'm merely surfing on your wave of spam. Because I can sign a written statement that quite soon no one but you two is going to be really interested in this thread.

Not that I mind, of course. I like surfing on spam and pointing my finger (won't say which one) at people. It's just that some (most of the) people who visit the OSM don't.

If I read something about the BigBang again in a thread about political correctness, I will for sure silence the poster.

Some guys just won't change their habbit....but my patience is pretty much over now.

And NO, I do NOT want an explanation now why the Bigbang is related to black women!!

It is important to remember that, although Hitler was quite evil, he was just one man. If Germany had not been ready to follow him, he couldn't have led her anywhere. The desire to commit heinous crimes exists within all of us. To say that the catalyst is the cause of an event is a gross error of logic.

When the Jews fled from the Nazi Holocaust and came to America, they saw something here that we ourselves cannot see. They saw Germans. It is a mistake to think that American Whites are a Celtic race. An enormous percent of our population is descended from central European immigrants. Racists believe that this is why the Jews put out a Holocaust movie every year: they want to make sure we'll never do to them what our cousins tried to do.

And you know what? The Racists & Jews are right. We are capable of committing heinous crimes. To ignore this fact is to ensure that it will be demonstrated again. We must keep an eye on ourselves. Because I'll tell you right now, if Hitler's reincarnation ran for President, he would win.

@Angelito

You might not want an explanation, but I think I actually understood this one. I think the reference to the big bang is his way of saying that the argument is taken to the extreme. If taken to the extreme then nobody can be blamed for their actions because it's all predestined since the big bang. So the big bang is to blame, not the individual.

I made a similar argument myself when I asked "How recent does the sin of thy father need to be to "owe" some form of recompense..."  The meaning is that there must be a point when we can't be held responsible for past actions that were not our own.

Then again, maybe I have no idea what thedeath is talking about, which is pretty much normal.
