Starcraft 2 no LAN
Well, I heard that SC 2 was going to exclude LAN from some very rqewliable sources (Norwegian. Ask me if you really want it). Altough this may be old news, but I didn't found any notifications on it here at HC. This means that only Battle.Net would be the only meethod to play multiplayer, and if XeroXerduX was right about that Battle.Net and WoW would share cost, I would probably not buy it. 
And what was the talk about the game splitted in three?

That turned out to be a bunch of poppycock. Battle.Net and World of Warcraft will share accounts, but only World of Warcraft will have a monthly fee.
I think that there has already been a thread like this in the past.

game has two expansions which also include campaigns
first game vanilla sc2 - terran campaign
second game sc2 expansion - zerg campaign
thrid game sc2 expansion - protoss campaign

I think that it would be fair to call it a game and two expansions instead of one game sold in three parts.

Yeah, the cost of Battle.Net was removed. They change their minds.
Starcraft will have 2 expansions.
The orginal game is focused on the Terran and called Wings of Liberty.
The second game focuses on the Zerg and has new units etc like a normal expansion. Its called Heart of the Swarm.
And the last expansion focuses on the Protoss and has new units etc like a normal expansion. Its called Legacy of the Void.

Blizzard are so original in naming their expansions. Who would have thought that it would be "X of the Y" in both? I mean really, such amazing inspiration.

Good news for D3: There wont be any loading screens.
And Sc2 really looks cool. I suck at Starcraft 1 though, for some reason. Its so hard :S I die all the time. Warcraft 3 is much easier.
I cant wait to see the actual Xel'naga and the Protoss/Zerg and Protoss/Terran hybrids. 4th faction

I'm curious how the Xel 'Naga are going to fit into the game without seeming underpowered. Obviously the factions will need to be balanced for the multiplayer competition, but in the actual plot the Xel'Naga are an ancient race with immensely advanced technology. Maybe they were dormant and stopped advancing so they're now on par with the other races?
I'm not terribly interested in the hybrids.

There will be no xel'naga at multiplayer, and balance in SP is not important for that type of game.
Lack of LAN is sick, how will they make offline tournaments? It won't work with garena, too.
Everyone wants to play tournaments on their crappy 500 ping bnet. Sure.

And there are only the 3 orginal factions. The Xel'naga and Hybrids are the main plot obviously and only appears in the campaigns.
Basically the Xel'naga does a "Warcraft Titans" (or maybe it was the other way around) and decided to wipe everything out.
I believe that the Protoss expansion Legacy of the Void (followed by Starcraft 3: X of the Y Z) will focus on mostly on the Xel'naga as Zeratul is the main character there.
Zeratul will unite the Protoss clans.
I wonder so much how the Xel'naga looks like. Hopefully not like Naga

Don't say ridiculous thing. SC 3? probably 15 years from now if u're lucky.
Back to the topic. I hope blizz will change their mind, imo LAN is still a must nowadays. No LAN is super bad move.

If everything was like Blizzard stated, gamer's life would be too good.
You surely have a lot of faith in them lol
Oh wait, you're Xerox.
Anyway, I don't believe it will not lag. Even LAN-emulating GArena does lag at times.

What about ridiculessy overpowered units, which again is equally expensive and buildt time? Basicaly War3 building times and unit building times xD
Add on some bizzare food scheme to keep them under controll.
Maybe that got 1 single building that spawns nodes? That lone building dead = lost? I dunno.'
