Quote: Ok, ok i'm sorry you don't have to get all defensive. It's just when I see "Gnomes from World of Warcraft" I just think about those stupid mechanical ostriches. I just would like a gnome that looked like he knew a lot about machinary (that was the theme that the engineers were going for) That gnome with his armour and flaming sword doesn't fit that mould very well.
Does he look better?

Ok, since this shall be more satirical, I'll propoe some factions:
The Purists:
Mainly, fanatic ex-civilians who got the opinion the guardsmen aren't able too keep all the "filthy scum" (non-human races and all foreigners) out of the town and decided to take it into their own hands. They drink a lot and show not too much intelligence mostly, except of their leaders, who unfortunately managed to get some engineers' weapons by force.(neo-national-socialists-inspired faction)
1 home Guard (mob troop, able to throw 1 "molotow cocktail" per battle)
2 Watchdog (quick melee troop)
3 SS (elite-melee troops)
4 Flamethrower (breath weapon)
5 Odin-Cultist (casting)
6 Street Tank (heavy battle machine)
The Anarchists:
On the opposite of the Purists, there stand the Anarchists who disobey any order at all, and live by battle. They are formed by all kind of mad, agressive folks and weird creatures among them and they have no goal but causing as much destruction as possible.
1 Gnoll Punk
2 Drunken (Berserking Dwarven unit)
3 Giant Spider
4 Mareuder (Agressive Lizardman unit)
5 Bomber (They build and place bombs)
6 Wyvern
Ok that's it for now, not my best, maybe, but maybe its worth a consideration^^
